Pedro Taduran could be moving up to 108 pounds after one more defense of his IBF minimumweight world title.

According to boxing writer Nick Giongco, Taduran is being lined up to defend against undefeated Spaniard Brandon Moreno in early November before potentially leaving the 105-pound division.

The move is being considered because of the limited major-fight opportunities at minimumweight, with Taduran looking toward a deeper and more marketable light flyweight division.

Terrafirma Dyip pulls off a 114–109 upset against the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA 50th Season Governors' Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium!

The Dyip delivered a complete team effort led by import J. Strings, who put up a monster double-double with 28 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks in over 46 minutes of action. Juami Tiongson provided sharp perimeter shooting, adding 20 points (4-of-7 from 3PT), while Maverick Ahanmisi dropped 16 points and 10 assists to orchestrate the offense. J. Bravo (16 PTS on 70% FG) and Brent Paraiso (18 PTS off the bench) also made major contributions to secure the win.

Despite J. Bahio’s huge double-double off the bench (20 points, 16 rebounds) and Robert Bolick’s 20 points and 8 assists, NLEX couldn't overcome Terrafirma’s high-powered starters, who accounted for 88 of the Dyip’s 114 points.
