Bawat Sabado: SARADO.

He grew up in Zurich playing soccer since age 4.
By 21 he was professional, under 21 national team of Switzerland, one transfer away from a top five European league.

Then he stumbled onto a live stream of a church service.
The sermon was about the Sabbath.
"I was really hit with this question: do I need to quit my career?"
He went into the forest. Cried out to God. Walked out with peace.
Three months into his contract, he told his coach.
His phone exploded overnight. Messages from Kenya, Romania, Poland, Brazil.

"Silvan Wallner wants to follow Jesus Christ."
He said it was the best thing that ever happened to his life.

📖 A Bible Gift for Baby Isaac 💙
A beautiful and meaningful gift for Baby Isaac—“My Bible Friends,” published by Philippine Publishing House (PPH). 📖✨

Mikee, husband of Alex Gonzaga, chose to give little Isaac a Bible storybook that can introduce him to the stories of the Bible and the love of Jesus from an early age. 🙏❤️

Praise God for the Literature Evangelist (L.E.) who had the opportunity to visit the office of Mikee, husband of Alex Gonzaga, and offer Christian literature. What a beautiful reminder of how God can use one simple book to touch a family and plant a seed of faith. 🌱📖

I am also a former Literature Evangelist, and seeing this brought back so many memories. I remember those days of going out, meeting different people, offering books, and trusting God with every encounter. ❤️

Sometimes the ministry was not easy. Walking under the hot sun, going from house to house, knocking on doors, and offering books. ☀️🚶‍♂️📚

Sometimes people welcomed us, and sometimes they didn't. Some would listen, while others would politely—or even firmly—say no. But we continued because we knew that we were not just selling books; we were sharing a message of hope.
I remember those days, and looking back, I can truly say:
God is good. 🙏❤️

We may not see what happens after we leave that doorstep, but perhaps that little book will be opened someday, at the right time, by the right person.

As L.E.s, we may not always see the immediate result of our work, but every book placed in someone's hands can become a seed that God can grow.
“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV
Praise God for the Literature Evangelists who continue to share the Gospel, one book at a time. 🙏📚🌱

For Seventh-day Adventist students, the Sabbath is more than simply a day without classes—it is a sacred time of worship, rest, and devotion to God.

In the Island Garden City of Samal, City Council member Clavel Ann David has raised concerns regarding Saturday examinations at Samal Island City College and has called for alternative testing arrangements for students who observe the Sabbath.

Her appeal highlights an important concern faced by many Adventist students: how to remain faithful to their religious convictions while also fulfilling their academic responsibilities.

David pointed to protections for religious freedom under the Philippine Constitution, as well as education guidelines that recognize the need to accommodate students whose religious observance falls on Saturday. Her request seeks to ensure that Adventist students are given reasonable alternatives so they can complete examinations and other academic requirements without being forced to choose between their education and their faith.

For many young Adventists, keeping the Sabbath can sometimes mean making difficult decisions—missing certain activities, requesting special arrangements, or respectfully explaining their beliefs to teachers and school administrators. Having policies that recognize religious observance can help students pursue their education while remaining true to their convictions.

This appeal is not about avoiding academic responsibilities. It is about finding fair and reasonable ways for students to meet those responsibilities while respecting sincerely held religious beliefs.

May schools, educators, government leaders, parents, and students continue to work together in promoting an educational environment where academic excellence and religious freedom can coexist.

And to every young person who has ever faced a difficult decision because of your faith: continue to stand with humility, respect, and courage for what you believe.

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8

May this conversation encourage greater understanding and respect for students who faithfully observe the Sabbath.
