Happy Father's day

13/06/2025

Imagine a woman cloaked in strength and dignity, her spirit alight with joy, her heart buoyed by an unshakeable trust in the Divine. This is the essence of the woman we encounter in the wisdom of Proverbs. She does not tremble before the uncertainty of future days; rather, she meets them with a radiant laugh, an echo of her profound trust in the Lord. Her secret? She knows, with unwavering certainty, that the tapestry of her life is woven by omnipotent hands.

Picture yourself, dear sister, standing at the threshold of tomorrow. The unknown looms ahead, a vast expanse that whispers of myriad possibilities, both bright and dark. It is the natural way of the human heart to quiver in the face of this vast unknown, to let worry gnaw at the edges of our peace. But let us take a lesson from the woman of Proverbs; she who stands firm amidst the shifting sands of time, her gaze fixed on the horizon with serene anticipation.

Let us take a moment to reflect on her confidence. It is not born of her own strength or foresight, but from a wellspring of faith in her Lord. She knows that the Almighty has charted her course, has counted every hair on her head, and has inscribed her name upon the palm of His hand. With such divine assurance, what room is there for fear?

So, let us lay down our burdens of anxiety and fear at the feet of our Savior. Let us release the tight grip we have on our own plans and instead embrace the mystery of God's will with open hands and open hearts. As we do, a profound peace will settle upon us, a peace that enables us to face the morrow not with trepidation, but with a smile that mirrors the confidence of the Proverbs 31 woman.

In the tapestry of life, amidst victories and accomplishments, it's easy to be swept away by the echo of our own triumphs. The applause may lead us to look inward, attributing successes to our own strength. However, in these moments, I am reminded of a profound truth that calls for a pause and a humble redirection of our gaze.

Consider the majesty of the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God. His splendor outshines the accolades of this world, and His wisdom far surpasses our understanding. In the light of His glory, we find clarity. It is not our abilities that bear fruit, but His power working through us.

The story of Joseph, an exemplar of humility, echoes through time. Standing before Pharaoh, he didn't claim the wisdom of dream interpretation as his own. Instead, he confessed, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer." Joseph's response is a lesson in humility and a testament to the source of true wisdom.

As we navigate through the waters of success, let's anchor our souls in the truth that every talent, every opportunity, and every breath is a gift from above. Let us, like Joseph, recognize that our achievements are not a mirror reflecting our own image but a window through which the light of God's glory shines. May we live lives that reflect His majesty, attributing all honor to Him who sits on the throne, forever and ever.
