In the tapestry of life, amidst victories and accomplishments, it's easy to be swept away by the echo of our own triumphs. The applause may lead us to look inward, attributing successes to our own strength. However, in these moments, I am reminded of a profound truth that calls for a pause and a humble redirection of our gaze.
Consider the majesty of the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God. His splendor outshines the accolades of this world, and His wisdom far surpasses our understanding. In the light of His glory, we find clarity. It is not our abilities that bear fruit, but His power working through us.
The story of Joseph, an exemplar of humility, echoes through time. Standing before Pharaoh, he didn't claim the wisdom of dream interpretation as his own. Instead, he confessed, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer." Joseph's response is a lesson in humility and a testament to the source of true wisdom.
As we navigate through the waters of success, let's anchor our souls in the truth that every talent, every opportunity, and every breath is a gift from above. Let us, like Joseph, recognize that our achievements are not a mirror reflecting our own image but a window through which the light of God's glory shines. May we live lives that reflect His majesty, attributing all honor to Him who sits on the throne, forever and ever.
