A Love That Is Willing to Wait and Work
— A Story Submitted to God 💛
Jacob didn’t find Rachel by chasing romance,
he found her while obeying God.
And Rachel didn’t win Jacob through striving,
she was simply faithful in the place God assigned her.
Their love began where obedience met obedience.
Jacob pursued her through God’s order, not shortcuts.
Rachel waited with honor, not pressure.
He worked for her with integrity.
She trusted God with patience.
Even when the story took painful turns (deception, delay, disappointment),
they didn’t step outside God’s will.
Their love wasn’t perfect, but it was SUBMITTED.
And God blessed what they surrendered to Him.
Daughter of God, hear this:
The love meant for you will not pull you away from God;
it will bring you deeper into His timing, His order, and His peace.
A man who truly values you will not rush your boundaries, confuse your spirit, or make you question your worth.
He will wait with honor and work with consistency.
Why?
Because godly love is not afraid of time or sacrifice.
The right man God has for you will see you the way Jacob saw Rachel —
Worth the years.
Worth the labor.
Worth the pursuit.
If he’s not willing to wait or work, perhaps, he’s not your Jacob. ✨
