FRAGRANCE OF THE DAY: COEUR DE ROSE (LIMITED EDITION) EAU DE PARFUM by GP x Noah
Story Time..
I just thought the Dreamer Collection Series of GP x Noah already concluded with their three successful fragrances: Vieux Papier 💵, Eclat Noir 🍫🍒 and Memoires De Montagne ⛰️🎍🥭
On the 3rd week of June, a surprise 4th fragrance was unveiled and the teasers had accents of roses and I assume it was a rose fragrance. As a fragrance enthusiast, I was quite excited.
The NOAH brand had an online contest where five lucky winners were picked to attend the private and intimate fragrance launch of the surprise limited edition fragrance.
I just thank the Lord for his provision because I was one of the five winners who were handpicked to attend the event. 🙏🏻☝🏼🙌🏼
The fragrance launch was conducted at House Party Lounge Bar and Café located at Poblacion Makati. We had the opportunity to test the fragrance and man, it didn’t disappoint. It is a beautiful, well crafted fragrance.
Just today, I received my full 50 ml bottle of Coeur De Rose Limited Edition. It had an authentication card and it says it is the 897th bottle out of the 2000 bottles.
Yes, this fragrance is rare and GP and Noah just released 2000 bottles only and they will never reproduce this fragrance again. I am just honored and privileged to own a rare fragrance bottle.
Coeur De Rose is the last fragrance of the Dreamer Collection Series. It is an original Filipino niche artisan fragrance.
The inspiration behind the fragrance is “gratitude” and “thank you”. It is the finale of the Dreamer Collection Series and it is Greg’s way of thanking the perfume enthusiasts for the support it got from the GP x Noah Brand.
What is my first impression of this fragrance?
Upon spraying, it smelled like a watered down rose with its stems and leaves with very prominent greens. There are hints of fruits that adds to its freshness.
This fragrance is fresh, green, a tad fruity with hints of pine-y nuances. This rose scent is not overpowering but this is a sophisticated, well crafted fragrance by the creative hands of Filipino perfumer, Sir Renato Lopena Jr also known as the Filipino nose.
Although not part of the official roster of fragrance notes, I detect lychee nuances with this fragrance. This fragrance is wearable in all occasions and it doesn’t choose a specific climate.
Whilst this is a floral, fruity, green fragrance, men can definitely pull this off. What is also interesting with this fragrance is that it utilized rare fragrance notes such as Douglas fir and Violet Leaf Absolute. This is the first fragrance I know that used Patchouli Filipina, our homegrown plant.
I will do a full, in depth video review of this fragrance in the future.
