I tried this Crochet Filet square pattern, and it's looking good so far.

Although I've done a very few crochet filet projects in the past, I can't say that I am into it 🤷‍♀️ .
But now (and perhaps because I've come to that age already 🤭), I enjoyed doing it!

It's a classic way of crocheting using foundation stitches at the bottom, working your way up while creating certain shapes in the process-- a great way to reset after a short, crafting hiatus ❤️

Just when I thought I was already an “expert” in crochet, I found myself facing a challenging project!

Working on this mandala reminded me that there’s always something new to learn—more ways to grow, more techniques to explore, and endless opportunities to test both creativity and patience 😄

It’s still a work in progress, but it’s already coming together as a beautifully chaotic mix of stitches and colors.

I was aiming for a neutral palette with this set of coasters, but they ended up leaning more toward soft pastels—and I love how they turned out!

The design combines basic stitches with crochet puff stitches to highlight the edges, adding a subtle texture and charm.

It was such a fun, creative, and heartwarming Saturday with these amazing girls — a group of grade schoolers from ICA! ✨🧶

We had the joy of hosting their end-of-school-year get-together through a crochet and accessory-making workshop. So much laughter, creativity, and teamwork all afternoon!

Thank you, girls, for bringing such wonderful energy. It was truly a lovely experience! And thank you to the thoughtful parents who organized this special activity.
