🚫 I’m not perfect, I don’t have a perfect life.
I’m just Ariane, a wife, a mom of two boys, and someone who’s lived through the grind of working long hours in IT for over a decade.
Back in Manila, I was a SAP programmer. It sounded impressive… but in reality, it was a life of missed dinners, working weekends, and barely catching my kids before bedtime. Even with a good salary, we were still living paycheck to paycheck. I thought, I don't want to be doing that for the next 10, 20 years more.
When we moved to Canada in 2022, I traded my corporate desk for entry-level jobs — cleaning, moving coordinator, concierge — anything to help us get by. It was humbling, exhausting, and a constant reminder that we were starting from zero. I remember walking down the crowded Toronto subway wondering how long we could keep living like this.
Months after my post-grad education, I went back into IT. But that blessing came with the same old problem — long hours, high stress, and barely any time for my family. The life we dreamed of when we migrated still felt out of reach.
Then in 2023, I stumbled upon an opportunity that made me pause. Not because it promised a too good to be true lifestyle… but because it made me ask myself, What if this could finally give us the breathing room we’ve been praying for?
So I said yes. I started learning. I worked on my laptop at the dining table while my boys did homework. I am building this alongside my job — not to escape work, but to create choices. Choices we never had before.
Now, my days still aren’t perfect. I still face challenges, I still mess up sometimes… but I no longer feel trapped because of the options I have. I now have the flexibility to travel with my family, say yes to school events, and actually be present — not just physically there but mentally free, while we build our dream retirement.
If you’ve ever looked at your life and thought, there has to be more than this, I know exactly how that feels. And maybe, just maybe, my story can be the spark you’ve been waiting for. ✨️
Don't wait until you're ready, you are capable, just as you are.
