Pilgrims of hope🙏💚

🚪With the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica, the Jubilee of 2025 has officially begun.

During a jubilee year, the faithful are encouraged to:
😓 Repent of their sins (seek out the sacrament of confession)
❤️ Forgive the sins of others (heal, grow, and move on)
🙏🏻 Renew their focus on the spiritual life (pray unceasingly)
🚶🏻Make pilgrimages (journey to appointed pilgrim sites either within or without your country)

This 2025, MFC's theme Hope Abounds serves as a reminder of our great call to make Jesus our one and only hope. As missionary families, let us journey together and hold on to Christ—the One who saves, the One who transforms, and the One who leads the way.

Thank you, Lord, for You have been, and will always be, faithful to us! Things change, time passes, and every circumstance shifts, but You remain the same—𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚. Thank you, Lord, because You remain faithful! You keep us close to Your heart and never let us stray. Because of that, we leave this year with hearts full of gratitude, and we will face the coming year with 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 in our hearts!

September 8 | 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲

We can see every human birth as a call for new hope in the world. The love of two human beings has joined with God in his creative work. The loving parents have shown hope in a world filled with travail. The new child has the potential to be a channel of God’s love and peace to the world.

These are all true in a magnificent way in Mary. If Jesus is the perfect expression of God’s love, Mary is the foreshadowing of that love. If Jesus has brought the fullness of salvation, Mary is its dawning.

Birthday celebrations bring happiness to the celebrant as well as to family and friends. Next to the birth of Jesus, Mary’s birth offers the greatest possible happiness to the world. Each time we celebrate her birth, we can confidently hope for an increase of peace in our hearts and the world at large. (Franciscan Media)
