"𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖, 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞"

𝐂𝐂𝐒 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏

Right before diving back into the countless lines of code and endless late-night grinds, the students of the College of Computer Science had a wonderful and unforgettable night last September 12, 2025. This celebration was a tribute to unwavering dedication, balancing responsibilities by day and education by night is a true mark of strength, ambition, and perseverance.

The Master of Ceremony kicked off the night by welcoming everyone and setting the vibe for an exciting night ahead. The event officially began with a heartfelt prayer and the national anthem, followed by the motivating words of College Dean Dr. Jesus S. Paguigan, with some motivating words. This was then concluded with a CCS alumni who shared their journey and encouragement towards the rest of their college populace.

Of course, the night did not just end quietly, because the Information Technology Student Association, Computer Science Student Association, and the College of Computing Studies - Student Government all prepared a number for the attendees. Not only that, the surprise number from the talented faculty members also brought the energy with their unique talents and dedication to perform.

And lastly! Before the night ends, THERE IS MORE! ANTIPARA, AISY, and KAEI DYEM set the stage on fire with their incredible voices and killer tunes! They not just let us hear their voices, but broke the silence of machines with the warmth of music, proving that even in a world full of codes and numbers, the human heart still creates the most powerful programs.

𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 | 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

The Freshmen and Transferees Orientation 2025 successfully took place yesterday, September 5, 2025, at the EARIST Main Quadrangle. Organized by the Student Affairs and Services, this annual event served as an avenue to warmly welcome new EARISTians into the community while familiarizing them with the institution’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO), policies, services, and vibrant student culture.

The program was graced by the inspiring messages of university officials, including Dr. Rogelio T. Mamaradlo, Institute President and Dr. Eric C. Mendoza, Vice President for Academic Affairs alongside the Deans from different colleges, who imparted guidance and encouragement to the incoming students. Each college had their respective sessions, ensuring that all learners are fully oriented on their academic journey.

Highlights of the orientation included presentations of university services such as Instruction and Publication, Culture and Arts, Counseling, Medical and Dental Services, Safety and Security, and Administrative Support. The event also featured the participation of the Institute Student Government and the EARIST Chorale, adding spirit and energy to the program.

This milestone marks the beginning of a meaningful journey for freshmen and transferees as they embrace unity, solidarity, and teamwork, the core values of EARIST. With renewed hope and determination, the new members of the community are now ready to contribute to the institution’s legacy of excellence in trades, business, arts, sciences, and technology education.

Once again, welcome to EARIST, where future leaders and innovators are built!

𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐌 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Today, the EARIST Technozette honor National Press Freedom Day, a reminder that truth, transparency, and the free exchange of ideas are the foundation of a just and democratic society. Let us stand with journalists and media workers who courageously uphold the people’s right to know. Inspired by Marcelo H. del Pilar (Plaridel) whose legacy we commemorate today we commit to protecting spaces where facts are verified, power is scrutinized, and diverse voices are heard.

Press freedom is not just a media issue; it’s a public right. Support local newsrooms, consume critically, verify before sharing, and stand with media workers calling for fair wages, safety, and independence. Demand transparency from institutions, defend the safety of journalists, and push back against censorship, harassment, and the spread of falsehoods online.

A free press protects us all.

Today, August 25,2025, we celebrate National Heroes Day, a reminder of the countless sacrifices made by those who came before us. People with extraordinary courage, who sacrificed their lives and gave everything they had so that we may inherit the Gift of Freedom. The stories written in the pages of history, with their legacy that lives in the heart of every Filipino.

This day is more than just a holiday. It is a reminder that heroism is not always loud or grand. Sometimes it is found in the quiet acts of love, in the sacrifices no one sees, and in the simplest of choices to serve others. Heroism is not measured by the grandest of victories alone, but also by the daily choices to love, to give and to serve.

May this celebration inspire us not only to honor our heroes of the past, but also to recognize and appreciate the heroes of our everyday lives and to live a life worthy or their sacrifice. May we not only remember our heroes, but also strive to live as heroes for others.

We concluded our Training and Seminar for Student Publication 2025 with an exciting event! Publication students from both Manila’s EARIST TECHNOZETTE and Cavite’s THE CHAMPION gathered once again. The seminar and workshop took place at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) Amphitheater. The session began with a prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Ms. Agnes F. Amorin, the Director of Student Affairs and Services, then delivered the Opening Remarks, inspiring everyone in the EARIST Amphitheater.

The Seminar and Workshop were divided into two parts. Our first guest speaker, Atty. Solfia Arboladura, led a successful discussion on Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Information, broadening our understanding of these vital topics. Let’s continue to advocate for truth, transparency, and the right to voice out! The second speaker, Mr. Romnick Cielos, focused on Sports Writing and News Writing, helping us improve our skills in capturing action and reporting facts effectively.
See you again for more trainings and seminar!
