ADVISORY: The University suspends classes in all levels and office work on September 19 (Friday) starting 12:00 n.n. in light of the UAAP Season 88 Opening Ceremonies and festivities.

The event, open to all Thomasians and alumni, features a three-part program entailing a eucharistic celebration, opening ceremonies, and the Hope Concert.

Today, the world remembers the birth of Mary, the first light before the rising Sun. In her, God planted the seed of salvation, a pure vessel destined to carry Christ into humanity.

September 7, 2025 – The University of Santo Tomas welcomed the first day of 2025 Bar Examinations, earlier today.

Aside from being one of the 14 testing centers in the country, the University was also declared the National Headquarters for the first time since the exams were decentralized in 2020.

The examinations will continue on September 10 and 14, where the University has declared a shift to Enriched Virtual Mode (EVM) of instruction for all academic units and remote work for office operations.

‘HINDI UMUULAN DAHIL MAY PINAGLALABAN’

September 7, 2025 – Runners and students from various universities gathered at the Quezon City Hall, University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) Campus for “Takbo Laban sa Korapsyon,” earlier today.

UP College of Science Student Council Chairperson, Gio Biglaen, stressed that critical public funds are being diverted from essential services.

“Instead of our funds flowing into our education, healthcare, and disaster risk funds, napupunta lang siya sa bulsa ng iilan,” he said, referencing unfulfilled flood mitigation projects.

The event aimed to raise awareness on government accountability and transparency, amid mounting concerns over irregularities in DPWH flood control projects.
