Repeat after me: God can use me even when I haven’t figured out everything yet.

When my course creation clients go to me and tell me they feel like a fraud for teaching their expertise, I tell them these:

1) Even if you aren’t at level 10 yet and feel like you’re still at level 5 of whatever industry/niche you are in, there’s still someone who are looking up to you and needing your advice or help. They may be in level 0 and want to reach level 5 — exactly where you are now.

2) Teaching them your process or system or giving useful advice that can help them avoid mistakes you yourself had to overcome is one of the best ways for you to become better — i.e. go from level 5 to level 6 and so on.

3) God can use us even if we’re broken and imperfect. We don’t have to have everything figured out, especially if we ourselves had to deal with challenges or mistakes that taught us important lessons. We must share those lessons. Someone out there may need the encouragement or support so they don’t make the same mistakes we did.

These are the exact things I told a client of mine, an executive of a top international organization who came to me for advice because for some reason, she couldn’t find the courage to record her course videos. No matter how high up she is in the career ladder, she still dealt with imposter syndrome.

But after hearing these from me (btw, these aren’t new to her; she just needed the reminder), she said she was so grateful and that those were what she needed to hear to find the courage to face her fears.

I still struggle with imposter syndrome sometimes but using my experience, I was able to encourage her at the moment she needed it.

God can use us even when we haven’t figured out everything yet. Let us be ready to be His vessel.

This is a quote from my book btw! You can get a copy at faith-steps.com 🤍✨

I used to complain to God about having separated parents. There’d be family days at school and it hurt me so much to not bring both my mom and my dad. I threw fits at my mom and demanded for them to just “fix” things. Of course, it cannot be.

But at some point, God made me realize that no matter how bad it felt for me, He can turn it for good.

I just promised myself that when I have a child in the future, I won’t let them suffer the way I did. In faith, I’m believing that my future family will be happy and complete — a testimony of God’s goodness.

I also used to feel so much self-pity for not being born into a wealthy family. There were times I saw my mom pull out her wallet as she gave me allowance only to see a few bills left that’s reserved for her bus fare going from the province to Manila. There were many times I looked at the boutiques in a mall and not have the courage to go in because I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford those stuff anyway.

But again, with God’s grace, I was able to turn this into fuel for my dreams. It gave me the drive I needed to do something about my life and to make brave decisions — no matter how scary — because not doing so would mean I should forever be okay with where I was.

Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for the circumstances I was born into. I would never change anything about my life and my family even if given the chance. Because it built my character. Because they are all parts of the person God mace me to be.

But when I felt the conviction arise in my heart to do something about it, I took it as a challenge. I took it as God’s call to bring me where He wants me to be so that in the end, He will be glorified.

Take these words into heart, my loves, and if you resonate, my book may inspire you. You can get it at the Orange app (iykyk) or Amazon! Or just simply go to faith-steps.com

Let’s turn our challenges and circumstances into fuel for our dreams, okay? 🤗

A letter to my past self ✨

Dear past self,

Thank you for not giving up on your dreams.

Thank you for trusting God when He called you to take your faith steps despite the fears and doubts in your heart.

Thank you for continuously persevering even when there were times you felt lost, wondering if everything you were building is worth it.

Thank you for not backing down even when some of your closest relatives and friends doubted you.

Thank you for pushing through the cringe, for still pressing record or writing your heart out even when you felt afraid of being judged.

Thank you for not giving up on your business even when there were seasons you were in the negative and you had to face a lot of rejections.

Thank you for the sleepless nights and endless brainstorming sessions.

Thank you for the tears and for picking yourself back up when you stumble or made bad decisions.

God used all of the challenges, heartaches, and sacrifices to build our character and get us here.

We may be nowhere near the finish line (life is but a continuous journey after all) but your faith steps, by God’s grace, have gotten us closer to our dreams.

To God be all the glory! ☺️🤍

If you’ve started taking action towards your dreams — no matter how small it may seem — and you wonder if it’s even worth it, remember: you’ve still outdone your past self and the people who are not doing anything.

Ninety two percent of people never achieve their goals but you’re part of the 8% who turn their dreams into reality.

Good job, you’re an outlier. 🙌🏼

Keep taking your faith steps, loves!

How are you? I know these past few days have not exactly been great.

If you’re a Filipino like me who loves your country and desires only the best for your people, I know it hurts to see everything that’s going on — the people who are supposed to be in places of power and influence are the ones misusing their position. And for what? Greed? Luxury? Protecting themselves? Staying in power?

**sigh**

I cried a few tears this morning while in prayer. I don’t know. The tears just fell. I couldn’t hold them in and that quiet place with God, I think, is where I found safety.

God told me, “Come, my Child. The weight is not all yours to bear.”

So I gave it to him. I know God is in control. I know His alone is true victory and justice. I have faith that evil may try to escape the consequences of things but God, Himself, knows everything. And one thing is for sure — He is just.

So at this chaotic hour, I pray. I surrender. Then, I get up once more.

Let’s continue praying for our nation, friends. And while we’re at it, don’t forget to take care of yourself okay? 🫶🏼

Life sometimes makes it hard for me to believe I’m God’s masterpiece. Beauty standards left and right, crazy expectations I or society have set for myself, unrealistic timelines that make me feel like I always need to rush.

Even admitting I’m stressed sometimes makes me feel like I’m weak, far from what a masterpiece looks like 🫠

But God reminds me time and time again that I am His masterpiece, His artwork. And that He, the Greatest Artist in this universe, will never create something that’s not precious and beautiful. Being a work in progress does not dampen the beauty and wonder He has already molded me to be.

Perhaps, this is a reminder for you too! Have a blessed new week, friends 🤍✨

“You are a masterpiece yet to be fully unraveled. A beautiful piece of art the world never knew it needed” (quote from my book, !)

You make being a woman and a mother look so easy, even when the sacrifices you’ve made to raise me and help me get to where I am now are countless.

You are God’s best gift. I love you and Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! 😙✨
