Jomalig Island Tour 2024!

Island Tour is one of the exciting activities to do in Jomalig Island. Unlike others that island hopping is thru boat, in Jomalig island hopping is different because it's thru habal-habal (motorcycle). The habal-habal tour cost P800 per head and only one passenger is allowed with the driver. The best time to start the tour is before sunrise to catch dramatic landscapes along the way. The tour can be completed on a half day but you have the whole day to yourself if you wanted to stay longer in some of the tourist destinations.

Let's break down all of the tourist destinations included in the tour:

1. Puno ng Walang Forever
2. Kanaway Beach
3. Little Boracay of Pamana Beach Resort
4. Lingayen Cove aka Little Batanes
5. Bagasbas Golden Sand

It's a must that you do the tour! Jomalig is more than just the main beach at your resort. The island has so much beauty to discover. 💕

Jomalig Island DIY Travel Guide 2024

Jomalig Island, also known as the “Golden Island,” is a hidden treasure located in the Polillo Group of Islands, Quezon Province. Known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque landscapes.

🚌How To Get Here? Commute
To get here from Manila, do the following:
1. To reach Real Quezon, take an Infanta-bound bus in Legarda Manila or look for a Van that follows the same route. The bus ride takes around 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. (Fare: P270*)
2. Once in Real, Quezon, ride a tricycle and tell the driver to bring you to Ungos Port (port in Real). (Fare: P20 per person)
3. Once you reached the port, you can take a boat ride to Jomalig Island. Travel time is approximately 4-6 hours. (Fare: P500) The fare no longer includes meals, so bring your own food.
4. Once you arrive at Jomalig, you will just have to pay P170 for the tourism and environmental fee.
5. In Jomalig Port, ride a habal-habal to your resort. (Fare:P80)

🏘 Where to stay?
Jomalig Island offers a variety of accommodation options for tourists who wish to stay on the island. The best option is to bring your own tent and camp out. We stayed at:

🏠Banana's Beach Resort
P150 per night - Tent pitching (Rooms and Cottages are also available)
P100 - Entrance Fee
P150 per meal unli rice (but you can bring your own food)
P800 per pax - Island Tour via Habal-Habal

🍲Where to eat?
▪️There were no commercial restaurants or eateries near the beach so most meat was purchased at the market in Real, Quezon, brought on the boat and cooked in the campsite. You can always buy home-cooked food in the houses residing there! It costs PHP150.00/person. The meal includes unlimited rice.

Overall Budget: Playing around P5000/pax
