In her interview with Boy Abunda, Big Winner Caprice Cayetano spoke honestly about the intense “Ultimate Tapatan” moment involving Lella Ford and her response showed nothing but grace.
When Tito Boy asked her, "Sinabi na hindi ka karapatdapat na maging bahagi ng ultimate 8, nasaktan ka?" Caprice gently answered, "Ako po, hindi naman po ako nasaktan."
Instead of reacting emotionally, Caprice chose understanding. She didn’t take the comment to heart. For her, it was part of the challenge not a personal attack. She understood that in competitions like that, difficult questions are meant to be answered honestly.
When asked if they were able to talk about it, Caprice shared, "Sya po [Lella] nags-sorry po sya, sabi ko wala namang problema don, kinailangan nya lang naman po talagang sagutin yon kase ultimate tapatan po yon."
Lella apologized and Caprice immediately assured her that there was no issue. She recognized that Lella was simply answering truthfully because that’s what the “Ultimate Tapatan” required. There was no bitterness, no grudge , just maturity.
