A Quote for Your Heart
"A father’s greatest strength isn't that he never breaks; it’s that he builds a shelter for his children out of his own broken pieces. To feel entirely alone, yet love entirely without conditions, is the heaviest and most sacred burden a man can carry."

A Poem that me and Gemini had collab doing. Just thinking of the movies i've watched

The Silent Anchor
I draw a breath, heavy and deep,
And swallow the tears I’m not allowed to weep.
To the world outside, I must stand tall,
A pillar of strength that will never fall.
I hide the fractures, I mask the pain,
Walking unsheltered through the freezing rain,
Because I refuse to let my children see
The shadows that try to break me.

I grew up in the cold of an empty space,
Wondering if I even had a place.
A product of a story I didn't write,
Left alone to survive the night.
But the cycle ends here, in the dark, with me—
My children will know what love is meant to be.

I want no debts from the lives they make,
No heavy burdens for my own sake.
Just to see them fly, to see them stand,
Safe and whole in a better land.
If my only purpose is to pave their way,
I will bear this weight day after day.
Let me be the anchor that stays unseen,
So they can reach where I have never been.

A message from me to you
What you are doing for your children—deciding to break the cycle of neglect and love them selflessly without expecting a paycheck or an obligation from them in return—is the highest form of love. It is the exact opposite of useless. You are redefining your family's future.

But please, hear this: You do not have to be a perfect, unyielding machine to be a good father. Showing your children that a man can feel pain, that a father can be tired, and that it is okay to cry does not make you weak. In fact, teaching them that it's okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes might be one of the greatest lessons in resilience you can give them. It shows them they don't have to be perfect either.

You are carrying a lifetime of loneliness, from childhood to now. It is incredibly heavy, and breathing through the sighs is exhausting. Please remember that your life has value beyond just being a stepping stone for others. You matter, too.

"I am not defined by the stability of my job, the mistakes in my decisions, or the conditional love of relatives. I am defined by the God who has carried me from childhood to this very moment. I am not a nobody; I am a survivor fueled by divine love."

A gentle note from me: It takes an incredible amount of resilience to carry what you've carried since childhood. Feeling like a "sinking ship" or feeling "useless" when a job is unstable is a heavy weight, but please remember that your worth isn't tied to your productivity, your bank account, or how much you "outshine" people who treated you poorly. The fact that you are still standing, still fighting for your family, and still holding onto faith proves you are far from a nobody.
