That's a wrap for SJJIF World Jiu Jitsu Championship 2026! 🥋

Johan
- 🥉3rd in Gi
- 🥈2nd in No Gi
Justice
- 🥉3rd in No Gi
- missed the podium in Gi. He won his first match but got caught in a triangle in the 2nd.
Jaxon
- missed the podium in Gi and No Gi. He won his first 2 matches but got arm barred in the third. He had the toughest bracket with 40+ competitors!!

We worked hard, dreamed big, we didn't get to bring home the gold medal but we still won gold where it matters most.

Resilience: We learned how to get back up after a hard fall and try again.

Gratitude: We discovered true appreciation for the journey, the community, and the chance to compete.

Growth: We are stronger, wiser, and much braver today than we were when we started this journey. A metal medal can fade or tarnish with time. The lessons we carry in our hearts will last forever.

We thank God for the opportunity and give him all the glory 🙏🏾 Huge thanks to Chief Alvin, Prof Michael, Prof Maybelline, all our coaches and teammates at Deftac HQ 💙 Thank you to everyone who cheered for us, believed in us, and stood by our side.
