🙏🙏A Prayer for Protection from Super Typhoon UWAN 🙏🙏
Almighty and Merciful God,
We lift our hearts and voices to You in this time of great peril as Super Typhoon Uwan approaches.
You are the Creator who commands the wind and the waves, and in Your presence, we find our only true refuge. We humbly ask you to calm the fury of this storm and to lessen the impact of its destructive power.
We pray for all people who are in its path, especially the vulnerable—the elderly, the sick, the poor, and those who have already lost so much.
Guard every home, so that walls and roofs may stand firm against the gale.
Protect every life, so that no one may be lost to the floods or the raging waters.
Strengthen the hands and hearts of all first responders, relief workers, and community leaders; keep them safe as they dedicate themselves to saving others.
Grant us all the grace of prudence—the wisdom to heed warnings, to evacuate to safety, and to prepare our families and our communities.
May our faith in You be our anchor, a constant source of hope and courage, even in the darkest hours. After the storm has passed, help us to rise together in solidarity and compassion to rebuild and care for one another.
We ask all of this through Your infinite love. Amen.
