Brought my parents to Boracay.
Nothing grand, but for me, this meant the world. 🏝️
Yung simpleng “Thank you, nakkong” nila — hindi ko na yun malilimutan.
It hit deeper than I expected.
I guess when you’re so used to giving, hearing those words feels like a soft kind of healing. 🥹
I became more independent when I started working.
Since then, I stopped asking for help — even when I needed it. No one really sees the behind-the-scenes.
The skipped wants, the quiet hustles, the late-night overthinks just to make ends meet… and make them proud. 🙏
And I hope they are.
Because this moment—taking a photo of them, giving them this experience—is my “I love you.”
No words, just presence. Just proof.
And I hope they felt it. 🤍
To the once little girl who dreamed of giving her parents something they’ve never had…
