🟢 COULDN’T ACCEPT THE TOP 5 LOSS? NOW THEY WANT JOHN BONIFACIO DETHRONED?

Controversy surrounds the final night of Mister Cosmopolitan 2026, held on September 12 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Reports cited by local authorities indicated that the event had not yet secured the required written approval from the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, with documents reportedly still incomplete.

The Philippines’ John Bonifacio won the top title, while Vietnam’s Nguyen Hai Anh finished in the Top 8. The results have drawn online discussion amid questions surrounding the event’s organization and regulatory approval.

Under Vietnam’s regulations, beauty and modeling competitions require official authorization. The reported lack of written approval has therefore raised questions about the legal status of the event and its results.

🟢 IS VIETNAM’S TOP 5 STREAK FINALLY OVER?

HOME COURT & JUDGES’ ADVANTAGE DIDN’T WORK THIS TIME!

Vietnam failed to enter the Top 5 at Mister Cosmopolitan 2026, breaking a pattern that has drawn criticism from pageant fans whenever Vietnam hosts international competitions.

After the backlash surrounding Miss World 2026, fans had already been questioning the perception that hosting a pageant comes with a guaranteed Top 5 advantage for Vietnam.

This time, Vietnam didn’t make the cut. The controversy speaks for itself. 👀
