GSIS: HINDI MANININGIL NG EMERGENCY LOAN SA LOOB NG TATLONG BUWAN PARA SA MGA APEKTADO NG BAGYO

Bilang tugon sa mga miyembro at pensioner na labis na naapektuhan ng pananalasa ng mga bagyo, magpapatupad ang Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) ng 3-month grace period (moratorium) sa pagbabayad ng emergency loans.

Ibig sabihin, hindi muna kailangang magbayad sa loob ng tatlong buwan upang mabigyan ang mga miyembro at pensioner ng panahon na makabawi, makarekober, at muling makapagsimula nang hindi agad nabibigatan sa mga bayarin.

Layunin ng GSIS na maibsan ang pinansyal na pasanin ng mga apektadong miyembro at pensioner habang unti-unting bumabangon mula sa pinsalang dulot ng kalamidad. Sa panahong ito ng pagsubok, nananatiling matatag na katuwang ng mga lingkod-bayan at retirado ang GSIS sa kanilang pagbangon at muling pag-asenso.

Schedule ng Pagbabayad:
• Mga loan sa November 2025 → unang bayad sa April 10, 2026
• Mga loan sa December 2025 → unang bayad sa May 10, 2026
• Mga loan sa January 2026 → unang bayad sa July 10, 2026
• Mga loan sa February 2026 → unang bayad sa August 10, 2026

Bukas ang GSIS Emergency Loan Program mula Nobyembre 7, 2025 hanggang Pebrero 7, 2026.

Maaaring mag-apply ang mga kwalipikadong miyembro at pensioners sa GSIS Touch mobile app o sa pinakamalapit na GSIS branch.

We say goodbye to one of the most enduring and respected public servants our country has ever known. For over 50 years, Juan Ponce Enrile dedicated his life to serving the Filipino people, helping guide the country through some of its most challenging and defining moments. Even in his final years, he remained brilliant, sharp, and firm in his belief that law and governance must always serve the Filipino people.

His passing marks the close of a chapter in our nation’s history. But the mark he leaves behind in law, in governance, and in the hearts of those he served will never be forgotten.

RIP JUAN PONCE ENRILE

It is with profound love and gratitude that my father, Juan Ponce Enrile, peacefully returned to his Creator on November 13, 2025, at 4:21 p.m., surrounded by our family in the comfort of our home.

It was his heartfelt wish to take his final rest at home, with his family by his side. We were blessed to honor that wish and to be with him in those sacred final moments.

He dedicated much of his life to the service of the Filipino people. At this time, we humbly ask for the public’s understanding as our family takes a brief moment to grieve privately and honor his memory together in quiet and in peace.

Details for public viewing will be shared once arrangements have been finalized, so that all who wish to pay their respects may have the opportunity to do so.

On behalf of our family, I extend our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support we have received during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.

Dahil sa masamang panahong dulot ng Bagyong Uwan, iniutos ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) na magpatupad ng libreng sakay sa MRT-3, LRT-1, at LRT-2 nang buong araw mula November 10-11.

Maliban sa mga tren, magde-deploy din ng mga bus ang Office of the President (OP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), at ang tanggapan ni Senator Erwin Tulfo upang magbigay ng libreng sakay sa mga pasahero ngayong araw, November 10.

Buong araw epektibo ang libreng sakay sa mga bus na dadaan sa mga rutang Quiapo-Fairview, Quiapo-Angono, Lawton-Alabang, Roxas Boulevard-Sucat at Taft-Cubao. Posibleng palawigin pa hanggang November 11 ang libreng sakay sa bus depende sa pangangailangan ng mga pasahero.

Samantala, inalis na rin ng PPA ang RoRo terminal fees para sa mga sasakyang maghahatid ng rescue equipment at relief goods para sa mga maaapektuhan ng bagyo. Kasama dito ang government vehicles, pati na private vehicles na may dalang relief goods o rescue equipment para sa government agencies.

Libre na rin ang cargo fees sa local airlines para sa mga maghahatid ng tulong sa mga nasalantang residente.

Nauna na rin inatasan ni Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez ang Toll Regulatory Board na gawing libre ang toll ng mga sasakyang reresponde sa mga emergency at rescue operations, at kailangang dumaan ng expressways.

“Buong-pwersa ng DOTr ang nakatutok ngayon sa mga kababayan nating apektado ng super typhoon Uwan. Mahigpit na utos ng Pangulo na gawin ang lahat para mapadali ang paghahatid ng tulong sa mga kababayan nating apektado ng bagyo, kaya maaga tayong nag-mobilize sa lahat ng transportation sectors para mapabilis ang lahat ng relief at rescue operations ng pamahalaan,” ani Acting Secretary Lopez.

Tuloy-tuloy din ang pagbibigay ng pagkain at inumin para sa mga pasaherong stranded sa mga port, pantalan at bus terminals, habang patuloy na binabantayan ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ang sitwasyon sa mga airport na apektado ng super typhoon Uwan.

Dahil sa banta ng matinding ulan at hanging dala ng Bagyong , suspendido ang trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa NCR, CAR, at Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, at VIII ngayong araw, Nobyembre 10, 2025.

Suspendido rin ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga nabanggit na rehiyon, pati na rin sa Region VI, Region VII, at Negros Island Region sa Nobyembre 10 at 11, 2025.

Maaaring magdeklara ng suspensyon ang ibang LGU, at mananatiling bukas ang mga ahensyang responsable sa essential services.

Mag-ingat po tayo at sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng DOST-PAGASA at ng inyong mga lokal na pamahalaan.
