I don’t have much experience and new to trading and I want to start, but I want to do it right.
I’ve got a chance to pick the brainz of boss zee at Trading Republic by ZFT’s One Last Ride yesterday…
One key lesson that resonated: markets will always cycle, but the real challenge is preparing ourselves to adapt thoughtfully to shifting conditions. As someone learning the ropes, this perspective reminds me to approach DeFi and crypto with preparedness, always ready to adjust my strategies to align and learn from each phase.
Takeaways and reflections:
— The market will always turn. The question isn’t ‘if’ they’ll turn—it’s ‘when.’ A question I’ve learned to ask is “Are we in the euphoric stage or are we past that already?”
Don’t be the one left dancing when the music stops.
This would def keep me curious and cautious. And I wouldn’t want to get caught off-guard when the momentum shifts, so I need to recognize where we stand in the cycle to prevent it.
- WITHDRAW. It’s not just securing and locking in your gains, but it's also a way to protect our mental capital and prevent the emotional toll of a full round-trip loss if ever the market turned against our bias or expectations.
This practice would teach me the value of discipline, would def help me preserve the clarity needed to make sound decisions in these volatile times.
- In doing gridbots, it’s like LPing but you can do it in a downward trend position.
What i find fascinating is how they balance strategy with automation which lets us engage with trends in a systematic way.
- Pay attention to where the money flows, it's in the narratives so keep it on track.
- The market moves in seasons, is it the planting szn or harvesting szn? Since it’s a cycle, now’s the time to prep for the next growth phase. Build strats that’ll position me for whats ahead.
This one last ride is worth it. Here’s to the next one! 🚀
