Witnessing a live stripped-down performance of With A Smile by THE Ely Buendia himself was definitely not on my bingo card! 🎸

At the exclusive advance screening of Eraserheads: Combo On The Run at Ultra Cinema, Newport World Resorts, guests were treated to an intimate acoustic performance by Ely, making the night feel even more special.

The acclaimed docufilm premieres globally on Netflix on May 30, streaming in over 190 countries with a newly reworked cut featuring additional footage and expanded material from the band’s story. 🎬

The lineup brings together stories that feel urgent and grounded, reflecting the realities shaping communities today. It’s a reminder of how Filipino independent cinema continues to evolve, not just in form, but in what it chooses to confront.

Got invited to the private screening of SONGS FOR SELINA starring Mica Javier and Rachel Coates! 🎤🎶

A story that dives into the highs and harsh realities of the music industry, hits not just because of its music, but because of how real and grounded the story is. The film explores ambition, friendship, and the cost and unfortunate thruths of chasing success all brought to life through amazing performances and songs that truly move the story forward.

We also stayed for the post-screening talkback with the cast and creatives, where they shared insights on the making of the film and the realities behind the industry it portrays.
