"It's hard to be mad when you feel like you're part of something big." - Grandma Tanaka

Pixar’s HOPPERS is a funny and heartfelt adventure that explores empathy, environmental responsibility, and the importance of seeing the world from another perspective. Anchored by Mabel’s emotional connection to her grandmother and her fight to protect the glade, the film balances charming animation, sharp humor, and surprisingly mature themes. Its vibrant cast of animal characters and imaginative premise help build a rich world that makes Hoppers a thoughtful and entertaining Pixar story. ❤️

Got invited to the special advance screening of A SPECIAL MEMORY starring Bela Padilla and Carlo Aquino. 🎬

Bela Padilla and Carlo Aquino share undeniable chemistry on screen, and their performances are easily the highlight of the film. A Special Memory tells a moving love story about holding on to the people we love even as memories begin to slip away. With a screenplay by National Artist Ricky Lee and direction by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, the film leans into quiet, intimate moments that make the story feel grounded and sincere. ♥

We also joined the post-screening talkback with Direk Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Sir Ricky Lee, where they shared insights about the story and the creative process behind the film.

Huge thanks to for the invite! 🙏

MOVIE REVIEW: Hamnet (2025) 📖🎭

With extraordinary performances and masterful direction, Hamnet stands among the most emotionally resonant films of 2025. Chloé Zhao crafts an intimate portrait of grief, art, and enduring love that is both deeply personal and universally understood. It remains one of my favorite films from last year. ♥

HAMNET is now showing exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas. Rated R-13 by the MTRCB. 🍿🎬

MOVIE REVIEW: Wuthering Heights (2026) 🐎🌹

"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." - Catherine Earnshaw

Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights is bold, visually intoxicating, and fully committed to its darkness. As someone who walked in without deep attachment to the novel, I found myself immersed in its gothic world and provocative tone. Anchored by strong performances and striking visuals, the film carves its own identity rather than chasing the weight of literary expectation. It may not capture every layer of the source material, but it fully commits to its interpretation. And as a cinematic experience, that unapologetic confidence makes it worth watching.

Wuthering Heights is now showing in cinemas nationwide. Rated R-13 by MTRCB. 🎬🍿

MOVIE REVIEW: GOAT (2026) 🏀🐐

"My mom told me if anyone can change the game, it’s me. And I want her to be right." – Will Harris

In an era dominated by sequels and remakes, there is something refreshing about Sony backing an original animated sports story. The film may play it safe with its central arc, but the ambition behind it is undeniable. Younger audiences will likely connect with its energy, humor, and aspirational message. And for some, it may even spark a new love for the sport at its center. GOAT may not fully stick the landing, but it still shows a studio willing to take creative swings. That effort alone is worth acknowledging.

GOAT is now showing in cinemas nationwide. Rated PG by MTRCB. 🍿🎬

MOVIE REVIEW: The Loved One (2026) 🛵🥀

“Dahil ako ang mas magmahal, ako ang laging naghihintay.” – Eric

The Loved One may not deliver a sweeping emotional crescendo, but it offers something more intimate and grounded. Its strength lies in the performances, the writing, and the quiet confidence in its storytelling choices. The film lingers in the spaces between memories, allowing viewers to sit with the discomfort and tenderness of closure. It is a story that may resonate more deeply after reflection or even a rewatch. Imperfect in its emotional payoff, yet sincere in its intent, it stands as a thoughtful addition to modern Filipino romance. 🤍

THE LOVED ONE is now showing in cinemas nationwide. Rated R-13 by MTRCB. 🎬🍿
