also known as Marshall Evan Stone III, is a fictional character and anti-hero appearing in Marvel Comics. He was created by writer Peter David for the series X-Factor.
Origin: Random's origins are unclear, but he was likely created by Dark Beast, a scientist from the Age of Apocalypse reality. He was initially called "Alex" and worked with the Morlocks in the sewers of New York City. He later escaped and became a bounty hunter, taking the name "Random."
Powers and Abilities: Random possesses protoplasmic physiology, allowing him to shapeshift, counter other mutant powers, and regenerate. He can also alter his mass and strength and fire hardened protoplasm projectiles from his body.
