Sunday thoughts.

You know.. As a mother, I know my children are always watching. They are not just listening to my words, they're absorbing my actions.

Lately, I've been thinking about one of the most important things I need to teach them: You do not have to tolerate disrespect.

When someone tries to chip away at your spirit, undermine your worth, or treat you unfairly, the way you react becomes their lesson plan.

I realize that if I shrink from unfair treatment, they learn to shrink too. But if I decide to speak up and fight for what is right, if I stand my ground, they learn that their dignity is non-negotiable. That is the lesson I am modeling every day.

I am actively choosing to draw a line in my life. Not out of anything, but out of a deep respect for myself and my worth. It is also about making sure that when faced with injustice, I have the courage to take the necessary steps.

I am choosing to stand up for myself so my children know they can, too.

My hope is that when they face their own tough situations, whether it's on the playground or in their future careers, they remember Mom’s example: Your value is fixed. Don't let anyone try to negotiate it away and don't hesitate to fight for what you deserve.

Lead by example. Protect your peace. Teach them to do the same. 💜

I always say this.. when I host an event, the spotlight is never mine. It’s for the person being celebrated. The guests, even. May it be the birthday celebrant, the couple who tied the knot, the family or whoever the event is all about.

I may not be the most popular event host nor the most flawless one but I always pour my heart into every program. I celebrate with my clients.

I don’t even have fancy spinners, banters or sound effects, lucky if there’s a tech team to back me up during adlibs. But what I do have is a way of making people feel part of the moment. And just like what Eri said about his wedding hosting gigs, it’s about the relationship between the guests and the reason they’re all gathered. Because if people leave an event feeling seen, celebrated and connected.. then we’ve done our job as a Host.

We’re in the middle of BER months, with all the parties, weddings, and celebrations, I just hope that whoever you choose to host your event, you look past the popularity profile or the price. Trust your event with someone who hosts with heart. 🤎

I may not say yes to every event that comes my way since I also have a regular job, but I know I’ll keep hosting for as long as my knees and voice allow, hehe.. because this isn’t just work. It’s the part of my soul that wakes up every time I hold the mic. ✨

Why is the Philippines lagging behind in Tourism compared to our neighbors in South East Asia?

Direchohan na tayo. Kasi kulang ang pera sa pag-build ng infrastructure and promotions ng Pilipinas. Bakit kulang? You guessed it correctly! CORRUPTION.

* Mas madami dapat high quality airports in key destination areas. Ayaw ng mga tourist na marami unnecessary stop overs.

* Ang total promotions budget ng Department of Tourism bumaba from 1.2B (2023) to 200M (2024) to 100M (2025). Anak ng. Saan napunta pera? Ask your TONGRESSMEN & SENATORS.

Tourism can be a booming industry for the Philippines. Andami sana bagong trabaho at much needed investment papasok sa atin.

Isa na naman to na casulalty ng corruption and bad politics sa bansa natin.

Friends, vote properly in 2028. We desperately need radical change. Until then, let’s continue to demand change, accountability, and transparency from our leaders.
