As a funnel builder, your job isn’t just to understand the flow.
You also need to understand automation because strategy won’t work if the backend is broken.
I had a discovery call recently with a coach whose funnel looked complete on the outside… but nothing was working.
The email sequence wasn’t firing.
Tags weren’t triggering.
The countdown timer and event dates weren’t aligned.
The call lasted almost two hours 🥵 because I didn’t want to guess.
I walked her through the actual funnel flow, checked the backend live, and fixed the issues one by one.
Duplicate landing pages, duplicated forms, mismatched triggers… medyo nakakahilo, but that’s the job.
And that’s exactly why she booked the call to get clarity and a real solution.
If your funnel isn’t working, here’s where you can start:
✨ Step 1: Audit your automations
Check every tag, trigger, and action. One tiny mismatch can break the whole journey.
✨ Step 2: Simplify your assets
Remove duplicates. Keep your pages and forms organized.
And make sure your links are clean, consistent, and easy to remember.
✨ Step 3: Align your dates & timers
For events, double-check that your countdown timer, emails, calendar settings, and registration details are aligned.
✨ Step 4: Test the entire journey
Opt in yourself. Experience it as your client would. You'll spot gaps much faster.
As a funnel builder the goal is not just “build something pretty.
It’s to make the journey smooth, the tech accurate, and the system reliable.
A beautiful funnel is nice but a functioning funnel converts. 💛
Me still smiling kahit gutom na 😆
