Word of the Day: Discernment

Discernment — kakayahang kumilatis ng tama at mali, totoo at maliwanag, mabuti at mapanlinlang.

Hindi lahat ng matalino ay may discernment.

Ang talino nagbibigay ng kaalaman, pero ang discernment nagbibigay ng tamang direksyon.

📖 Hebrews 5:14
“But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”

Minsan hindi problema ang kakulangan sa isip — kundi kakulangan sa pag-unawa kung ano talaga ang tama.

Reflection:
“Lord, bigyan Mo ako hindi lang ng talino, kundi ng pusong marunong kumilatis ayon sa Iyong kalooban.”

Behind every family sitting together in church, there’s always a story.

Some overcame brokenness.
Some survived financial struggles.
Some are still healing from pain, misunderstandings, and silent battles.

And yet there they are… still choosing God together 🙌🙂

That’s why seeing families worship together is beautiful. Not because they have perfect lives, but because despite imperfections, they still decided to put God at the center of their home.

Minsan hindi natin alam kung ilang prayers na ba ang iniyak ng isang nanay para sa pamilya niya. Ilang sacrifices na ba ang ginawa ng isang tatay para maitawid ang pamilya niya. Ilang silent battles na ba ang nilalabanan ng bawat miyembro ng pamilya.

But seeing them inside the church reminds us that God is still restoring families today.

Because a family centered on God does not mean a family without problems. It means a family that keeps choosing grace, forgiveness, prayer, and love despite the struggles.

Nakakaiyak minsan makita yung buong pamilya na sabay-sabay sumasamba sa Panginoon, because in a generation where many homes are broken, divided, and distant from God… seeing families worship together is already a testimony itself.

And honestly, the church doesn’t need perfect families. It needs surrendered families.

Families who will say, “LORD, hindi man kami perpektong pamilya, pero Ikaw pa rin ang gusto naming maging sentro ng tahanan.” 🤍

Joshua 24:15 “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

To you who’s reading this right now, whether you’re still praying for your family to come to church, still fighting battles within your home, or still waiting for restoration… let this be a reminder for you to KEEP GOING 🙌🙂

Don’t let discouragement stop you.

Tandaan na ang desisyon mo na magpatuloy sa paglingkod para sa Panginoon ay hindi lang para sa'yo kundi para rin sa pamilya mo.

One prayer can change a home.
One surrendered heart can influence a generation.
And one family centered on God can become a testimony of His grace 🤍
