A quick visit to Bible school today brought back so many memories.

‘MEN, LISTEN! SA LALAKI NAGSISIMULA ANG KAGANDAHAN NG ISANG PAMILYA. WHEN YOU ARE A RESPONSIBLE AND LOVING PARTNER, YOU HELP BUILD A GOOD FAMILY.’

Hindi lahat ng lalaki kayang magpakita ng emosyon o lambing. Pero tandaan, hindi kahinaan ang pagiging malambing at maalaga. Mas lalo kang nirerespeto ng asawa at anak mo kapag marunong kang magpakumbaba.

Kapag nakita ng anak mo kung paano mo mahalin at respetuhin ang nanay nila, yun din ang magiging standard nila paglaki. Kung lalaki ang anak mo, matututunan niyang maging gentleman. Kung babae naman, matututunan niyang huwag pumayag sa pagmamahal na kulang.

Men, hindi lang pera ang basehan ng pagiging mabuting haligi ng tahanan. Totoo, kailangan mong magtrabaho pero hindi ito excuse para mawalan ng oras sa pamilya. Yung simpleng quality time, yakap at kwentuhan, malaking bagay na yun sa kanila.

Maraming relasyon ang nasisira dahil kulang sa communication at effort. Hindi sapat na provider ka lang, kailangan mo ring maging emotionally present. Kasi sa huli, hindi lang pera ang hinahanap ng pamilya mo kundi ikaw mismo.

At higit sa lahat, ang pagmamahal ng lalaki ang nagbibigay ng sense of security sa buong pamilya. Kapag ramdam ng asawa at anak mo na buo ka sa commitment mo, kahit anong pagsubok kakayanin ninyong sabay. Kaya mga lalaki, never underestimate your role because you set the tone for your family’s future.
