“Sabi nga nila, ‘When we became a parent, our rest day is our child’s core memory.’”

Naaalala ko tuloy nung bata pa kami yung mga biglaang lakad at yaya ng mga tita ko, walang plano, walang exact na pupuntahan, basta road trip, swimming, gala lang. Akala nila laro-laro lang ‘yun para samin, pero sa totoo lang, doon ko unang natutunan ang totoong buhay.

Hindi man perfect, pero ‘yun ang mga alaala na hinding-hindi ko makakalimutan. Kaya ngayon, as a parent, I want my child to feel the same kind of magic, yung pagod ka as a parent pero masarap kasi nakikita mo silang masaya at alam ko na magiging memories yun sa kanila habambuhay. 💛🌍
