Today we will find out if the schengen visa application is granted for me my son and my daughter. But as we arrive there, we arrived too early so they did not allow us to enter, and then when we cameback, we forgot the receipt and i could not find my receipt and the schedule is only till 4pm…so in the next 19 hours we will get the result and i will tell you about it.
Little background story:
It took me 16 months of non stop in finding ways how to get this visa for me, it was very difficult, some people i know even left me and avoided me m, and then to make it even more difficult, since this is a long time dream for my two kids ans true manila, i even decided to to add my two kids on the visa application process.
2010 when i first got my first visa to The Netherlands attending a film festival in Rotterdam. First time i saw a snow, experienced a -10 degrees temperature on February 2010 and i have no idea about this weather so i only have a sweatshirt and my good old converse. After my first day, i told my self that i will do everything to bring my kids here one day.
After 14 years of trying, 16 months ago since i started finding ways, and we are here today and about to find out what will be the result, if we can get the schengen visa or not….
And i have a mixture of different feelings and waiting patiently for the decision, i had to go back four times to VFA Austria, last year my appointment got cancelled, today not only I couldn’t find the receipt, out of excitement, we arrived too early and waiting for hoursss and the suspense is building up like crazy!
We need 99% of prayers and 1% goodluck!!!! I will start now the series so i can share to you the whe
Process of this dream and why i came up with this ideas and how did it grew into a massive dream that will benefit a lot of fellow filipinos and their kids.
Right now i cannot tell you the result yet, we are still waiting…but whatever the result will be, if we fail in getting the visa, here is what i will do…
i will not give up and i will apply again in Netherlands, if i fail, i will apply again in Germany, if i fail again, i will apply again in Spain, and if i fail seven times, i will apply again and again for seven times until i get that visa.
But if we get this visa, i will now proceed on sharing to all of you what is the purpose of this schengen visa application and why it will help a lot of kids who cannot afford to go to school and they always end up trapped in the cycle of poverty in our country. The purpose or this journey is to find a solution to the invisible problems that the leaders of this country cannot see. Hopefully we can find a way.
