MANYAK SI PROF. CRISTY LAURIAT!!!!
Mga naghahanap ng context:
"I’m sharing this because what I learned was not just uncomfortable — it was harassment.
The motorcycle rider traveling normally in traffic trying to focus on the road. Sitting behind him was an older man (the guy in the photo). At first everything seemed normal the rider picked up the old man in Makati (don't know exactly where but the rider's app says Makati to UDM) but after a few moments it became clear something was very wrong.
The old man repeatedly placed both of his hands inside the rider’s pants/waist area while the motorcycle was moving. The rider was visibly disturbed and kept shifting his body, trying to pull away while still maintaining balance. You could see he was distracted and struggling because he needed both focus and control just to keep the motorcycle steady.
Instead of stopping, the old man continued touching him even when the rider tried to move forward and adjust his position, the rider even slap (tapik) the old man hands to stop doing what he's doing. The rider looked embarrassed and shaken but couldn’t easily react because they were in the middle of traffic — one sudden movement could have caused them to crash.
This is harassment.
No one should ever be touched without consent — especially while operating a vehicle where lives are at risk.
After the incident, my partner (the rider) called me and asked if I knew the old guy since I am an Alumnus of UDM, sadly I never knew this old guy.
I also sent messages to the current UDM President to take some action on what happened and to be aware.
Please remember: safety on the road is not just about driving carefully. Respecting boundaries matters too. What happened could have ended in a serious accident or worse.
PS: My partner reported the guy named "Kriss"(the old guy) on the booking app but unfortunately he's not able to report the incident in a police station or barangay, since after the incident he is upset and embarrassed
