A little late to the party… but I wasn’t about to miss it. 🖤

Life got unexpectedly busy, so I wasn’t able to finish Infernal Tramps before publication day—which genuinely bummed me out.

But a huge congratulations to on its release last July 15! 🎉

If you’re into weird horror, body horror, and stories that aren’t afraid to get deeply unsettling, this one’s officially out now in paperback and Kindle on Amazon.

I’m still making my way through it, and all I can say is…

It is WILD.

I was promised weird.

I got weird.

I was promised horror.

I got horror.

And I have absolutely no regrets saying yes to this ARC.

Looking forward to finishing it and sharing my full thoughts soon—because something tells me this collection is only going to get stranger from here.

Its National Fries Day from where I live so of course the spawn requests for . (Their promo ends tomorrow, for the B1T1 Fries)

I also recently got a surprise book mail from and it happens to be Stephen King’s Gerald’s Game!!
I have seen the movie but I honestly have not read the book yet so I am very much excited and I am sure that the book is gonna be a looooot more stressful than the movie was.

That movie was STRESSFUL to watch.

Spawn is finally starting on Narnia book 2! Safe to say that the slump has finally ended.

I am still nursing a very bad case of the flu, so I will just be chilling with my book, and fries, and the company of spawn and the virtual people over at :D

Confession—but actually my Book Tour stop for GOD’S ASHES: APOCRYPHA by

When this book arrived, I excitedly told her that I was going to film an unboxing.

Her response?

“Noooo.”—not really, but somewhat.

She immediately apologized because it came in a plain brown mailing envelope and insisted that the packaging did not reflect the book.

She swore it was so much more than that.

…She was absolutely right.

I’ll be honest—the first quarter of the book confused me. Multiple timelines. Different countries. So many characters. I kept wondering how everything could possibly connect.

Then somewhere around halfway—

everything clicked.

And suddenly I couldn’t stop reading. (Napuyat ako girl, tinalo PhD readings!)

The best way I can describe God’s Ashes is this:

It feels like reading a beautifully written Black Mirror episode set across Southeast Asia.

It’s ambitious, political, thought-provoking, and surprisingly relevant. Every chapter kept making me rethink the one before it, and by the end, I wanted to go back to page one just to catch everything I missed.

This is definitely one of those books that rewards your patience.

Huge thanks to and for letting me join this tour. Safe to say… you were right.

One of my treasured copies of Horns by Joe Hill!

My friend lent me this copy YEARS ago and he just suddenly dropped out of school.
I meant to return it but he said its fine if I keep it for him for now.

Still one of the most cared for copies in my shelf.

Not to mention the first Joe Hill I’ve ever read! I didn’t even know who the man was until I saw his photo at the back of Heart-Shaped Box.
Yep. It took TWO books. Haha for me to realize who was.

Book launch day for Squalo & Mage vs. the Rage of the Bakunawa at The Studio, Fully Booked BGC! 🐉⚔️

This was such a fun and cozy launch for Kara Bodegon-Hikino’s debut graphic novel.

I actually featured the book here recently, so if you’re curious about it, do check that post out—but it’s definitely a recommended read from me.

Kara read an excerpt from the book live, answered questions about the creative process, revealed that she’s already working on Book 2 (!!!), and even gave away some adorable charms through a trivia game.

I attended with some bookish friends— and —and finally got to meet in person. It was also lovely seeing so many familiar faces from the local book community.

The highlight, though?

The free coffee and snacks.

And the balloon axe.

Because apparently that’s a thing now.

All in all, it was such a delightful afternoon celebrating Filipino graphic storytelling.

What do you mean I already have multiple copies of these books?

Yes, but not this edition.
Because, LOOK. AT. IT.

So pretty. And theyre so small.
Theyre the right format to bring to bed. My nose will be at peace when I read LOTR all over again with a small paperback on top of my face.

So. Pretty.
