A Prayer for Peace in the Middle East

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts as conflict and violence continue in the Middle East. You see every tear, every broken home, every fearful child, and every life caught in the crossfire.
Lord, stretch out Your hand over nations divided by anger and pain. Bring comfort to families who mourn. Protect the innocent. Heal the wounded — not only in body, but in spirit.

Calm hearts filled with hatred and replace bitterness with understanding. Soften leaders’ hearts and guide them with wisdom beyond politics and pride. Let peace rise where rockets have fallen. Let hope bloom where fear has lived.

God of mercy, remind the world that every life is precious. Break the cycle of revenge. Silence the weapons. Restore what has been destroyed.

We pray for courage to choose compassion, for strength to pursue justice with humility, and for a future where children grow up knowing safety instead of sirens.

May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard every heart in that region tonight.
