The Marcos administration increased its reliance on local capital markets to fund its budget last year, pushing the government’s total gross borrowings to a record high even as it scaled back international bond issuances to mitigate currency risks.

According to the latest data from the Bureau of the Treasury, the national government’s total gross borrowings reached ₱2.65 trillion in January to December last year, a 3.5 percent increase compared to ₱2,56 trillion recorded a year earlier.

Highest debt and highest budget but LOWEST DELIVERY. Puro nalang hearing at impeachments ginagawa na wala namang napupuntahan. Gumagastos ng BILYON or even TRILLIONS para lang mapabagsak ang isang pamilya na itinuturing na THREAT sa administrasyon. Ganyan kainutil ang gobyerno ngayon.

It's good to be present but having YOUR FACE in every magazine or tabloids intended to promote "tourism" is just plain WRONG. People don't go to places to SEE YOU.

Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco denies allegations of self-promotion, saying her appearance in photographs cited during a Senate hearing reflects official work to promote destinations and support local tourism.

She said her nationwide travels over the past three years, including visits to 56 of 82 provinces, were part of her duties to oversee tourism recovery, infrastructure development, and promotion.
