Many see only your earnings, but not the daily risks you face out at sea.

Last January 23, M/V Devon Bay went down near Scarborough Shoal with 21 Filipino seafarers on board. As we wait for updates on those still missing, we're reminded of one hard truth – being a seaman is not just a job, it's a life of courage.

These men weren't just carrying cargo. They were carrying hopes for their families, dreams for their kids, and the responsibility of getting essential goods to where they're needed. Every time they set sail, they face waves that can swallow ships whole and storms that test every ounce of strength they have.

This isn't just news – it's about our kababayans who put their lives on the line so we can go about our days.

Our prayers are with all the crew of M/V Devon Bay and their loved ones. We hold onto hope for those still missing, send strength to those rescued, and offer comfort to the families who lost someone they love.🙏🏻
