Today, I just feel overwhelmed.

Not because of one particular thing, but because there are just so many things going through my mind.

The uncertainties.

The what-ifs.

The things I wish I could already have answers to.

And sometimes, when you're in the middle of a challenging situation, even knowing what to do next feels hard.

I think that's the part I struggle with most—wanting to move forward, but not knowing which direction to take. Wanting clarity before taking a step.

Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to figure things out, make a decision, keep going, and be strong.

But maybe today, I don't have to have everything figured out.

Maybe I can just be still for a moment and remind myself that God already knows what I don't.

I may not know what tomorrow looks like.

I may not know how everything will work out.

But I know Who holds tomorrow.

So today, I'm choosing not to force an answer just because I'm uncomfortable with the uncertainty.

I'm going to breathe. Pray. Be still.

And when God shows me the next step, I'll take it. 🤍

It's been raining all week.

Today, the late announcement of class cancellations meant many of our food orders were canceled too.

As a small family business, moments like these can feel discouraging.

But before I could dwell on the setback, a few parents reached out and offered to buy the food instead.

It reminded me that life is often like the weather.

There will be rainy days we didn't plan for. But if we look closely, we'll also find God's quiet provision in the middle of them.

Sometimes His blessings don't stop the storm.

Sometimes they arrive as kind people He sends our way.

I'm ending today with a grateful heart. 🤍

Today was one of those days.

My eldest tested every bit of patience I thought I had.

This morning, there were moments I repeated myself over and over, moments I felt embarrassed, moments I felt completely overwhelmed.

By the time we got home, I had lost my temper.

As I sat with everything that happened, I realized something.

I often pray that God would change my children's hearts.

But today, He was gently working on mine.

Motherhood has a way of exposing what's already inside us. It reveals my impatience, my pride, my desire to control every situation.

And while that's hard to admit, it's also where God's grace meets me.

Tonight, my prayer isn't, "Lord, give me better-behaved children."

It's, "Lord, make me more like Jesus."

Because my boys don't just need a mom who corrects them.

They need a mom who is being transformed by the One she follows.

Lord, help me love them the way You love me—with truth, with grace, and with patience that only comes from You. 🤍

One thing motherhood has taught me is that children are always watching.

Not just how I respond when everything is going well, but also how I respond when I'm overwhelmed, when plans don't go as expected, or when I fall short.

This morning was one of those mornings.

We were busy preparing food for the school canteen while trying to keep everything moving at home. My eldest was extra playful and wasn't listening, and before I knew it, I had responded out of frustration instead of patience.

During their nap time, the Holy Spirit gently convicted my heart.

After our homeschool lessons, I sat beside him, said sorry, and explained why I corrected him. I wanted him to know that while his actions needed correction, Mommy also needed to ask for forgiveness for the way I responded.

I realized again that raising children isn't only about teaching them what's right. It's also about showing them what humility, repentance, and God's grace look like in everyday life.

I won't always get it right.

But I hope my boys will grow up knowing that Mommy always knows where to run when she doesn't.

And that's to Jesus. 🤍

I caught myself rushing again this afternoon.

I had a list of things I wanted to get done, but my youngest wasn't feeling well today. He's been extra clingy, crying over the littlest things, and all he wanted was for Mommy to be close.

If I'm honest, part of me kept thinking about everything I wasn't getting done.

But as I held him, I felt God gently reminding me that this was my assignment today.

The dishes can wait. The plans can change.

My little boy needs his mom right now.

Motherhood has a way of interrupting our schedules, but maybe those interruptions are where God teaches us to slow down, love well, and trust Him with the things we couldn't finish.

I'm learning that faithfulness doesn't always look productive. Sometimes, it simply looks like holding your child close.

And today, that's enough. 🤍

‎Before a new week begins, give yourself permission to rest.
‎
‎The laundry can wait.
‎The meals can be planned tomorrow.
‎The to-do list will still be there.
‎
‎Tonight, let your heart be still. Take a deep breath, open His Word, and let your heart rest in His presence.
‎
‎You don't have to carry tomorrow before it comes. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23), and remember that His grace will meet you again this week.
‎
‎Rest well, Mama. God is already there waiting for you in the week ahead. 🤍

‎Motherhood has shown me how much I need God.
‎
‎Before becoming a mother, I thought I understood patience, sacrifice, and love.

Then God entrusted little lives to my care, and I quickly realized how often I fall short.
‎
‎I've learned that motherhood isn't about becoming a supermom. It's about becoming more dependent on Christ.
‎
‎Every hard day reminds me that His grace is sufficient. Every joyful day reminds me that every good gift comes from Him.
‎
‎I don't share because I've mastered motherhood. I share because I'm being shaped through it.
‎
‎My prayer is that every mother who visits this space leaves feeling relieved instead of pressured, peaceful instead of overwhelmed, and grateful for the ordinary moments God has placed in front of her.
‎
‎We don't have to do motherhood perfectly.
‎
‎We simply have to walk faithfully with the One who goes before us.
