Science and Math Month 2025
On September 18–19, 2025, selected students took part in the Seminar-Contest on the Utilization of Casio Calculators in Solving Real-life Problems. 💡
The activity aimed to enhance problem-solving skills while showcasing how technology, particularly Casio calculators, can be applied in different branches of mathematics.
Seminar Sessions:
🔹 Session 1: Overview of the Modes and Functionalities of Casio Calculators
🔹 Session 2: Applications of Casio Calculators in Solving Algebraic Problems – facilitated by Ma. Christine Amoy Smell
🔹 Session 3: Applications of Casio Calculators in Solving Trigonometric Problems – facilitated by Phoebe C. Aranas Phoebe Aranas
🔹 Session 4: Applications of Casio Calculators in Solving Statistical Problems – facilitated by Vanesa S. Miculob Van Suarez Miculob
With five representatives from each grade level, this 2-day seminar-contest became a platform for learning, collaboration, and healthy competition. Students not only strengthened their mathematical skills but also discovered how technology supports innovation in solving real-life challenges.
Truly, this event embodied this year’s theme:
“Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation.”
