Throughout his extensive career as a political leader, Speaker Balindong—a respected statesman and staunch defender of the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL)—was instrumental in paving the way for the eventual passage of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), as well as in guiding the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) during its formative years.
