UNRAVELING THE TRINITY TRIANGLE
I was discussing the subject of one God with a Trinitarian friend of mine. I explained to him that there is only one eternal Spirit of God. I told him that the eternal Spirit of God was manifest in the flesh for the purpose of providing the ultimate sacrifice for sin. I explained that this manifestation — or personification — was the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Since the beginning, God required a blood sacrifice for the atonement of sins. Throughout the Old Testament, God promised to be our Redeemer. I reminded him God is Holy and God is a Spirit, thus making God a Holy Spirit. I concluded Jesus is not a separate “person” from God the Father, but is indeed the REVELATION of God the Father in human flesh. I further concluded the Holy Spirit is also not a separate “person” from the God the Father, but is indeed the self-same Spirit of the Father.

It was at this point that my friend brought out “The Trinity Triangle” to explain to me how God exists in three separate and distinct persons, yet remains one God. With respect to all Christians, I offer the following observation about the triangle:

First, the simple fact that one would need a triangle to explain ONE GOD should be the first light of caution that something is not right. Not once in scripture did the Jewish people hear about three persons in heaven, nor did they teach the concept of a triune-God to their children.

Deuteronomy 6: 4 – 7 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Second, If the Trinity has been present since the beginning of time, why didn’t God introduce this doctrine to His own people in the Old Testament? Why didn’t He tell them “God is one LORD in three persons?” Was there any reason to hide “God the Holy Spirit” or “God the Son” from them?

Third, the prefix, "Tri," has always represented three separate entities. Examples: tricycle (3 tires), trilogy (3 movies), triune (3 members, aspects, or parts), and trifecta (3 wins or events).
The doctrine of the Trinity does not deny this fact either, as it claims three separate and distinct persons; each with their own intellect, will, role, and personality. If each person in the Trinity can be prayed to, and each person in the Trinity has His own will and intellect, how exactly does that not equal three gods?

Fourth, let's break down the first three claims of the Trinity Triangle:
The Father is God.
The Son is God.
The Holy Spirit is God.

Why can’t we just simplify this by explaining that God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

The one and only eternal Spirit of God was manifest in the flesh at Bethlehem in the body of Jesus Christ. His eternal Spirit continues to dwell with us as our comforter and ever present help in time of need.

Fifth, let's look at the next three claims:

"The Father is not the Son."

There is only one God and Father of all (Malachi 2:10). This one God and Father of all was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). The flesh referred to was Jesus. Jesus was Immanuel - GOD WITH US. (Matthew 1:23) When you've seen Jesus, you've seen the Father (John 14:7-9).

Here's the bottom line: The Father is not the Son, but the Son is the personification of the Father. Jesus is God the Father manifest in the flesh. He is not "God the Son," or a second member of a triune God.

"The Son is not the Spirit."

Jesus promised to be with us always (Matthew 28:18).
How can Jesus abide in us unless He is abiding in Spirit?

How did Jesus walk through walls unless He is Spirit?

How did Jesus claim He would not leave us comfortless, but would come to us … unless He is Spirit? (John 14:18)

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Galatians 4: 6

For as many as are led by THE SPIRIT OF GOD, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received THE SPIRIT of adoption, WHEREBY WE CRY, ABBA, FATHER. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Romans 8: 14 - 16

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of his. 10 And if CHRIST BE IN YOU, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8: 9, 10

Now THE LORD IS THAT SPIRIT: and where the SPIRIT OF THE LORD is, there is liberty.
2 Corinthians 3: 17

To not believe Jesus is the Holy Spirit is to believe there is more than one Spirit living inside of you. That is not consistent with scripture. (See my Bible Study, "If I Had One Hour To Tell You About One God.")

But all these worketh that ONE AND SELFSAME SPIRIT, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by ONE SPIRIT are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into ONE SPIRIT.
1 Corinthians 12: 11 - 13

"The Spirit is not the Father."
How can the Holy Spirit not be the Father when the Bible clearly says it was the HOLY SPIRIT that overshadowed Mary to conceive Jesus Christ?
(Luke 1:35)

Did Mary have two Fathers, or is the "Holy Spirit" another term for God the Father?

Remember:
God is Holy (1 Peter 1: 16), and God is a Spirit. (John 4:24)

The Bible clearly tells us there is only ONE SPIRIT, only ONE GOD, and only ONE FATHER.

How can the Spirit not be the Father?

Do you really believe there are two eternal Spirits in Heaven? And that BOTH Spirits fill heaven and earth?

When David cried, "take not thy Holy Spirit from me," (Psalm 51: 11) Do you honestly believe David was referring to a third person in the Godhead? Keep in mind David was never taught that God was three persons. Jewish people only knew God as one Divine being and eternal Spirit. David was speaking to the one and only God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

When “the Spirit of God” moved upon the face of the waters in the creation account in Genesis, do you believe it was the “third person” who was creating the world? Again, this is not consistent with the scriptures.

Finally, well known Trinitarian minister, Charles Swindol, has been quoted as saying, "Jesus is the only member of the Godhead that you will ever see."
I find that extremely interesting, because he is admitting Jesus is the only visible manifestation of God. This is exactly what oneness believers teach, only we do not claim there are two other invisible members of a triune Godhead.

The bottom line is this: You do not need a three cornered triangle to explain God. Ironically, you simply need to remember these three basic biblical truths:
1. There is only one God and Father of all. (Malachi 2: 10)
2. God was manifest in the flesh. (1Timothy 3: 16; John 1: 14)
3. Jesus is God.
(John 1: 1, 10; Matthew 1:23)

I conclude with just a sampling of Old Testament to New Testament comparisons which clearly indicate there is no separation between God and Jesus. The only difference is that Jesus became the visible image of God and thus revealed His Oneness with the Father.

Isaiah 43: 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and UNDERSTAND THAT I AM HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

John 8: 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM HE, ye shall die in your sins.

Isaiah 43: 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO SAVIOUR.

Luke 2: 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David A SAVIOUR, which is Christ the Lord.

Isaiah 43: 25 I, even I, AM HE THAT BLOTTETH OUT THY TRANSGRESSIONS for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Mark 2: 5 – 7 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, THY SINS BE FORGIVEN THEE. 6 But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, 7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins BUT GOD ONLY?

Isaiah 45: 12 I HAVE MADE THE EARTH, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

John 1: 10 He was in the world, and THE WORLD WAS MADE BY HIM, and the world knew him not.

Exodus 3: 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

John 8: 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Isaiah 45: 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That UNTO ME every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Philippians 2: 10, 11 That AT THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

NOW IS THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION
The Bible teaches that sin is a transgression of God’s law (1 John 3:4). All people who know the difference between right and wrong have sinned (Romans 3:23). Our sins separate us from God (Isaiah 59:1-2). The punishment for sin is death (Romans 6:23). This is “the second death” which is “the lake that burneth with fire” (Revelation 21:8). God loves us. He does not want us to be punished for our sins. Therefore, He has provided a way for us to be forgiven ( John 3:16). God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins (1 John 4:10). Jesus suffered the punishment which we should have received for our sins (Isaiah 53:4-6). He did not die for His own sins, for He had none (2 Corinthians 5:21). He suffered for our sins on the cross so that we can be forgiven (Romans 5:6-8; 1 Peter 2:24). In order for us to be forgiven of our sins, and therefore receive eternal life, we must accept the salvation which Christ has made possible.

THERE ARE SEVEN STEPS WHICH WE MUST TAKE TO RECEIVE THIS SALVATION.

1. HEAR
First, we must hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17, KJV). One is not a Christian because his parents are. Faith cannot be inherited (Ezekiel 18:20). Each person must believe in Jesus Christ for himself. Christianity is a religion of teaching (Matthew 28:19-20). Unless one has heard the Gospel and learned that Jesus Christ died for his sins, was buried, and arose from the dead, he cannot be saved (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The apostle Paul wrote: “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14) One must first hear the Gospel before he can believe it.

2. BELIEVE
Second, one must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16). Jesus said: “...except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins” ( John 8:24). The jailor at Philippi asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They told him to “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house” (Acts 16:30-31). Jesus also said: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:16). One comes to believe in Jesus Christ when he hears the Gospel taught. Faith comes only by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). This is the reason it is so important that the Gospel be preached to the whole world (Mark 16:15).

3. REPENT.
Third, one must repent of his sins in order to be saved (Acts 17:30-31). Jesus commanded that “repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem” (Luke 24:47). Repentance is a result of being sorry for one’s sins

(2 Corinthians 7:10). When the Jews on Pentecost Day learned from Peter that they had crucified the Son of God, they “were cut to the heart” (Acts 2:37). They wanted to be forgiven

of their sins, so they asked, “What shall we do?” They were told “Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins...” (Acts 2:37-38). When one repents, he turns away from his sins (1 Thessalonians 1:9). He shows he has repented by doing good works (Matthew 3:8).

4. CONFESS.
Fourth, one must confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16). This great truth is the very foundation upon which the church of Christ is built (Matthew 16:18; Acts 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 3:11). Jesus said that we must be willing to confess Him before men if we want Him to confess us before the Father (Matthew 10:32-33). The apostle Paul wrote: “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

(Romans 10:8-10). When Philip preached Jesus to the Ethiopian eu**ch, the eu**ch asked, “what doth hinder me to be baptized?” Philip told him he could be baptized if he believed. The eu**ch then confessed, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God” (Acts 8:35-38). We must make this important, yet simple confession also in order to be saved.

5. BE BAPTIZED IN WATER.
Fifth, one must be baptized in order to be saved. Jesus said: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16). Please note that baptism follows belief. One who does not believe the Gospel cannot be truly baptized. Therefore, babies cannot be baptized for they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Baptism also follows repentance. On Pentecost Day, Peter told those who

asked what to do to be saved to “Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you...” (Acts 2:38). One cannot be truly baptized who has not truly repented. Baptism is a burial in water

(Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12). Therefore, sprinkling and pouring are not proper baptism. Baptism is in order to be saved (Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 3:21). One is not saved before he is baptized! Baptism is “unto the remission [forgiveness] of sins” (Acts 2:38). Just as Jesus shed His

blood for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:28), so we are baptized in order to receive the remission of sins. In baptism, the sinner’s sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus (Acts 22:16).

6. RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Spiritual Baptism (or the infilling of the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit) is the seal of God in our lives and the guarantee of our inheritance of eternal life. It is the Spirit of Christ working in us, anointing us with the power to be witnesses for Him. All born again believers must be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

John 3:3-7 – Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus saith unto him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

7. LIVE A HOLY LIFE.
1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

God calls us to holiness so we can be set free from the bo***ge and consequences of our own sin. God also knows that a holy life paves the way for deep intimacy with Him (Psalm 15:1-2). Holiness sets us free and draws us close to God!

1. Holiness fosters intimacy with God and builds spiritual strength and stability (Psalm 15:1-6)
2. Holiness makes us useful and effective for God’s purposes (2 Timothy 2:20-26)
3. Holiness in your life causes people around you to glorify God (1 Peter 2:9-12)
4. Holiness builds peace with God (2 Peter 3:10-18)
5. Holiness pleases God and produces “fruit”(Ephesians 5:1-17)

Holiness in God’s people also brings Him glory. When we live holy lives we reflect God’s character to the world. We become lights in a dark world that lead the way to the Savior.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

WHAT DOES ONE HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO BE FORGIVEN OF HIS SINS?

He must:
1. Hear the Gospel of Christ to establish faith;
2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God;
3. Repent of all his past sins;
4. Confess that Christ is God’s Son;
5. Be baptized for the remission of sins;
6. Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost;
7. Live a holy life.

When he does this, he is added by the Lord to His church (Acts 2:41, 47). He is born again.

( John 3:3-5; 2 Corinthians 5:17). He is in Christ where all spiritual blessings are to be found. (Ephesians 1:3; Galatians 3:26-27).

In short, he is a Christian (Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16).

Are you saved from your sins? Have you taken these simple steps to salvation? If not, why not do so today?

This quote from John F. Kennedy conveys the wisdom of taking proactive action and addressing problems or challenges before they escalate or become urgent. Just like it's easier to fix a leaky roof when the weather is clear and sunny, this phrase emphasizes the importance of tackling issues during favorable conditions rather than waiting for a crisis to emerge.

In practical terms, this saying encourages us to be proactive, diligent, and to address problems promptly when the circumstances are favorable. It stresses the significance of preparedness, foresight, and taking advantage of moments of ease to prevent potential difficulties in the future.

Overall, "the time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining" serves as a metaphor for being proactive, facing challenges head-on, and not procrastinating when it comes to addressing issues. It highlights the importance of taking action when conditions are favorable, rather than waiting for circumstances to worsen before seeking solutions.

... take no part in wrong and foolish talk, for those who do so will go farther into evil. ~2 Timothy 2:16 (BBE). This verse advises against engaging in meaningless discussions that lead to further ungodliness. It emphasizes the importance of avoiding futile arguments that can stray us from the path of righteousness. This verse encourages believers to focus on edifying conversations that promote spiritual growth and avoid getting entangled in disputes that do not honor God.

It also warns against speaking negatively about others to bring them down. It reminds us to refrain from gossip or slander that can harm someone's reputation or character. Instead, it encourages us to use our words to build others up and promote positivity and encouragement.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ALL ALONE AS YOU TAKE A STAND FOR GOD, JUST REMEMBER...

1. ONLY EIGHT PEOPLE GOT ON THE ARK.

2. ONLY FOUR PEOPLE ESCAPED S***M AND GOMORRAH.

3. ONLY DAVID STOOD AGAINST GOLIATH.

4. ONLY ELIJAH STOOD AGAINST THE PROPHETS OF BAAL

5. ONLY THREE HEBREW CHILDREN REFUSED TO BOW TO THE KING'S IDOL

6. ONLY ONE WOMAN ANOINTED JESUS' FEET.

7. ONLY ONE APOSTLE STOOD BY THE CROSS OF JESUS.

BEING A TRUE CHRISTIAN CAN GET LONELY, BUT BEING A PART OF THE HEAVENLY MINORITY IS WORTH IT ALL IN THE END!

Human laws or regulations do not have the power to change the moral nature of something that has been declared immoral by God. It suggests that even if a particular action or behavior is deemed legal or socially acceptable in a given society, it does not alter its moral status in the eyes of God.

Moral values are not solely determined by human consensus or legal systems but are instead grounded in a higher authority, in this case, God. According to this perspective, God's moral decrees are considered absolute and unchanging. Even if a society legalizes or approves of a particular action, it does not change its moral standing. It suggests that societal acceptance or legality does not override the moral judgment of God. In other words, the moral evaluation of an action remains the same regardless of human laws or societal norms.

Overall, moral values are not subject to human manipulation or alteration but are rooted in a higher moral authority, God. It underscores the distinction between human laws and divine moral principles and asserts the primacy of the latter.

📍1 Peter 1:15-16 (UKJV)
15 But as he which has called you is holy, so be all of you holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be all of you holy; for I am holy.

📍1 Thessalonians 5:22 (UKJV) Abstain from all appearance of evil.

📍Hebrews 12:14 (UKJV) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
