DELETE YOUR SHOPEE ACCOUNT AND DO NOT USE SHOPEE APP ANYMORE!

Your personal information stored on your shopee account (e.g. Name, Address, Phone Number, Bank Acct. Details, etc.) might be leaked and hackers might use it to prank you by placing an order together with your personal info even if you did not placed that specific order.

I've been a victim of this issue right now and everyday, I receiving a bunch of parcels that I did not ordered thru my shopee account. I'm the only one who controls my shopee account and I did'nt given any personal information online to others.

As you can see on my screenshots below, I don't have any pending orders right now on my shopee account. Next screenshot is where I received several text notifications from J&T (Shopee's Third Party Courier Service) that I have incoming parcel to be delivered on my location. After an hour, the courier just arrived at my location, stating that I have a parcel to be received. I refused to pay that specific parcel because I'm not the one who order it so I speak to the courier to cancel that order.

Even shopee's customer service can't handle this issue because they can't even trace who might be the culprit of all of this.

This time, I decided to call the seller of those items that delivered to me. The seller tells me that a shopee user is using my personal information to order their items without my consent.

I've been using shopee app for a long time and I'm satisfied with their services until one day, this issue happens to me. My family and work are already affected on this situation.

If you have legit pending orders on shopee, kindly wait for it until it delivers. After that, I recommend you to REQUEST FOR ACCOUNT DELETION of your account before it's too late for the hackers to use your personal information to prank you with a bunch of orders that will deliver to your doorstep.
