After a rigorous national screening process that brought together the best and brightest maritime students across the country, we proudly present one of the Top 20 Finalists for the Ten Outstanding Maritime Students of the Philippines (TOMSP) 2025.

Churchly Keith Balatian, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering student from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific – IMMAJ Campus, is an alumnus of the Philippine Youth Leadership Program (PYLP) in Northern Illinois University, USA. He leads as President of Project TODO – Turning Our Differences into Opportunities, an initiative that builds inclusivity and collaboration, while also serving as Class 2027 Honor Committee Representative at MAAP.

As he moves forward in his journey toward the TOMSP 2025 Awarding Ceremony, we invite you to show your support and celebrate his achievements as an emerging maritime leader.

John Emmanuel Espiritu, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering student from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific – CGSO Campus, made history as the first-ever MAAP delegate to the Ayala Young Leaders Congress. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the MAAP Honor Board Committee for AY 2024–2025 and actively volunteers with the Mayoyao PASSION Projects.

As he moves forward in his journey toward the TOMSP 2025 Awarding Ceremony, we invite you to show your support and celebrate his achievements as an emerging maritime leader.

Septian Alonsabe Gatto, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation student from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific – IMMAJ Campus, successfully passed the Civil Service Exam (Professional Level). He holds the top rank in the MAAP Dean’s and Director’s List and has served as Class Marcher for the Valhareans 2025.

Michaela Grace Marimon, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation student from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific – CGSO Campus, served as Cadet Representative at the Annual Crew Connect Global 2024. She is a recipient of the Best News Story Award at the 3rd Young Journalists Press Freedom Congress and has shown her commitment to service as Vice President of the Altar Server Ministry at St. Francis Xavier Church in Sarangani Province from 2020 to 2023.
