Yesterday, the SBC Stallion marched out in Cataingan Masbate, hoping to win the glorious pleasure of representing and giving recognition for the school in the intercollegiate basketball tournament.

MASBATE INTER-COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT STARTS THIS APRIL.

This tournament is headed by the Masbate Collegiate Athletic Association. 7 teams will participate in this tournament. Namely:
1) Osmeña Colleges
2) Masbate Colleges
3) Southern Bicol Colleges
4) Cataingan Municipal College
5) Masbate Central Technical Institute
6) Dr. Emilio B Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology Mandaon Campus
7) Dr. Emilio B Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology Cawayan Campus.
This tournament will be a "Dayo" system. The teams will play on several courts of different municipalities.

It’s finally in! The SBC Stallion is now officially listed as the participating team that will be part of the MCAA Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament 2024. Yesterday, both the chair heads of the SSC Commission on Sports traveled right from Masbate City to Cataingan Masbate to meet the commissioner of the MCAA to finally pass the official list of players for the SBC stallion and also to coordinate the will’s tunic for the team’s jersey layout. Stay tuned for more updates.

Congratulations to those who made it to the team! 🏀 Qualifiers will represent Southern Bicol Colleges in the upcoming 2024 Inter Collegiate.

Look: March 1, 2024, The SSC Sports Committee held the first day of tryout for the composition of SBC TEAM who will participate in the 2024 Will's Tunic Cup MCAA. Students from different departments and year level unleash their inner athletic fire to showcase their capability to take part and be fit out for glory to represent the school in an inter-college basketball tournament first ever held in the Province of Masbate initiated by the 3rd District Representative Wilton T. Kho.
