Shabāb Rubbiyū ʿala al-Īmān: The Four Important Attributes.
Strength | Kakusog
Strength that enables a young Muslim and Muslimah to protect the dīn (religion) and uphold its teachings.
Strength that helps them remain firm upon the guidance of the Qur'an, the Sunnah, their ʿAqīdah (creed), and the Manhaj (methodology) of the Salaf al-Ṣāliḥ (righteous predecessors).
Strength that empowers them to resist the evil within themselves and the evil of the corrupters.
Strength that enables them to uphold justice, regardless of the consequences.
The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though both are good.
— Sahih Muslim
Knowledge | Katigam
Knowledge that lifts a Muslim from ignorance of their own dīn (religion).
Knowledge that serves as their silāḥ (weapon) in this dunyā (world) and in the Ākhirah (hereafter).
But be cautious — knowledge can be either for you or against you.
It is a weapon only if acted upon; otherwise, it becomes a ḥujjah (proof) against you.
Knowledge is your awareness — of your Lord, your duties, and your path.
Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.
— Sahih Muslim
Courage | Kaisog
Courage — as it is.
Courage that empowers a believer to stand against the enemies and aggressors of Islam.
Courage that fuels resistance against injustice, against Ahlul-Bidʿah (people of innovation), and against the disbelievers.
Courage that drives a believer to stand for the ḥaqq (truth), for Islam, and for Allāh, without fear of blame.
Those who convey the message of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah.
— Surah al-Aḥzāb 33:39
Character | Kinaiya
Character that reflects the beauty of Islam in one's speech, manners, and dealings.
Character that holds back the tongue from lies, the hands from harm, and the heart from arrogance.
Character that shines with honesty, humility, modesty, and mercy — towards both Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
Character that brings people closer to Allāh, even before a word of daʿwah is spoken.
Indeed, the most beloved of you to me, and the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection, are those with the best character.
— Sunan al-Tirmidhi
O Allah, make us among the young Muslimīn and Muslimāt who are adorned with strength, knowledge, courage, and noble character — firm upon the dīn, acting upon the truth, sincere in speech and deeds, and following the path of the righteous Salaf.
Āmīn.
