There is this viral video on TikTok:

“POV: First time ng crew mo mag-inventory kaya pinagbilang mo ng tiles.”

The manager was even heard saying in the background,

“Hindi niya ’to malilimutan buong pagku-crew niya. Oo, first time mo mag-inventory ah? Eh, magbilang ka ng tiles.”

The video went viral because it showed power tripping in the workplace.

It happens when someone in a higher position abuses their power to embarrass or control others.

Instead of guiding the new crew member, the manager chose to humiliate her.

What should have been a learning experience became a way to show ego.

Power tripping makes workers feel scared, small, and unmotivated.

A good leader corrects with respect and leads with kindness.
