MAYES FAMILY: In line with the celebration of world teachers' month starting from September 5 to October 5, the faculty and staff of Maysan Elementary School joins in the celebration with the theme “Valuing teachers' voices: Towards a new Social Contract for Education” which gives recgnition to the pivotal role of the teachers in shaping the nation's most important resource, the learners.
In his openning remarks, Dr. Roderick De Leon said "this would be a meaningful day to all of us teachers as we celebrate another milestone of championing the challenges of education with your help, love and passion nothing is impossible".
He then added. "Let's us all enjoy and be happy because today is our day".
On the other hand, some of the barangay officials Kwgd. Nading Candido, Kgwd Adrea Matus grace the events.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jomar Celespara, an alumnus of Maysan Elementary School is also present to give honor and respect to his previous teachers who are still in the service in delivering quality education.
The joined efforts of the School Parents' Teachers' Association SPTA headed by their President Mrs. Daisy Alarcon and the office of the school principal initiated the said program.
Giving such recognition to all teachers' effort and sacrifices all over the world are truly immeasurable. TR
