THE CARDINAL CHANNEL (TCC) is the official broadcast laboratory channel of the School of Media Studies (SMS), of Mapúa University. An institutional organization managed by students under the Broadcast Media and Digital Journalism programs. The Cardinal Channel serves as an information and entertainment channel for the Mapúa community. This media platform is academically utilized to exhibit the fac

ulty and students' knowledge, ability, artistry, and innovation in the practice of online broadcasting and streaming through creative shows on academic programs, school activities, institutional events, arts, technology, culture, music, sports, and science.

The Austrian Embassy Manila in partnership with Mapúa University's School of Media Studies is holding a public lecture and discussion on the intersection of art, science, and the environment to highlight the role of art and film in addressing the climate crisis on June 20, 2024, at the Mapua Cardinal Cinema, Mapua Makati Campus, with H.E. Ambassador Johann Brieger, Austrian Ambassador to the Philippines.

This important event with the theme "Imagine Dignity: Artistic Responses to Climate Crisis’’ aims to bring together Austrian and Filipino organizations, development workers in environment and conservation, artists, filmmakers to explore innovative approaches to climate advocacy. It will feature presentations by experts from various disciplines, interactive discussions, and activities aimed at fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and inspiring creative solutions to environmental challenges.
