Instead, something completely unexpected happened.

The drawing quickly went viral. Within just 24 hours, the post had reached nearly 11 million views. Thousands of people shared it, commented on it, and waited to see whether Musk would respond.

He did.

But instead of liking the drawing or leaving a compliment, Elon Musk blocked the artist.The surprising response shocked many people online. After realizing they had been blocked, the artist expressed their disbelief.

As the story spread across social media, Musk replied again, this time with a laughing emoji. His reaction only made the situation even more viral.

Soon, many other users began posting their own drawings of Musk as a joke. Some edited the original artwork, including funny versions showing Musk eating watermelon. Others joined in by creating countless “Melon Musk” memes that spread across X and other social media platforms.

Even with all the jokes and attention, Musk never removed the block.

Ako lang ba?

Ilang years na ako naggigitara pero hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin ako marunong mag-tone from scratch without referencing kahit isang string (usually yung 6th 😅). Tapos kahit may reference na, hirap pa rin ako mag relative tuning.

Napasearch na rin ako dati, and sabi naman hindi mo kailangan ng perfect pitch para magawa ‘to. Pero ayun… di talaga siya ganun kadali for everyone.

So yeah, tuner pa rin ako. Dati phone lang—GuitarTuna or mga web-based. Kaso minsan nakakatamad na mag open ng app every time.

Kaya napabili na rin ako ng clip-on tuner. Chromatic na rin so pwede kahit anong tuning, plus usable din sa ibang instruments.

Anyway, sa mga same situation—okay lang ‘yan. Hindi naman basehan ng pagiging musician kung kaya mo mag tune by ear.

Kung may tools na makakatulong sayo para mas mapadali yung process at makapag focus ka sa actual playing, gamitin mo lang.

Practice lang, tuloy lang. 🎸
