La Purisima National High School (LPNHS) held its first Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HRPTA) Meeting and Parents' Assembly on June 11, 2026.
The activity brought together parents, teachers, and school officials to strengthen collaboration in promoting the academic success, well-being, and holistic development of learners, thereby building a strong foundation for School Year 2026โ2027.
The HRPTA meeting was held in the designated classrooms of every grade level and section.
Important agenda were discussed, including the role of parents in education, information about the three-term calendar, election of HRPTA officers, and other matters such as class funds and homeroom projects.
After the different class meeting, parents from both Junior and Senior High School departments gathered at the LPNHS covered court to attend the Parents' Orientation Seminar.
The program formally began with an opening prayer led by Ma'am Maryjoy A. Julianes, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Ma'am Richel Mae C. Villas, and the welcome remarks delivered by Ma'am Joy M. Palcon, OIC of the month.
During the seminar, parents were given the opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions, and share suggestions that could help improve the quality of education and school services.
The orientation proper began with Midred J. Prades, EPS I, ALS SHS Nabua West District, who encouraged those who had stopped schooling for various reasons to continue striving for their dreams.
"There is no age requirement for learning as long as one is willing to study," Prades emphasized.
She also reminded everyone that ALS is still open for enrollment.
In addition, Edwin B. Moico, JD, Principal I, acknowledged the achievements of LPNHS students in various competitions during the previous school year.
He noted that these accomplishments reflected the school's strong performance, made possible through the support of parents.
Furthermore, the Child Protection Policy was discussed by Ma'am Corelyn F. Nayve to ensure the safety of children in school.
Ma'am Ligaya A. Baladia also explained the new curriculum and grading system to help parents gain a deeper understanding to better guide their children.
Moreover, the school's guidance designate, Ma'am Fely N. Monge, elaborated the role of parents in education.
She advised them to provide not only financial support but also spiritual guidance to their children.
The activity concluded with a message of gratitude from Grace Decierra, who thanked all parents and stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation.
