⚠️Konting hugot at gratitude
It’s rainy season again, and I can’t help but remember the typhoon that once destroyed most of my makeup products and forced me to stop doing what I love. I found myself turning down clients simply because I lacked the tools to work.
But thankfully, there were a few persistent souls who never stopped messaging and booking me for their graduation pictorials. Then came my ever-supportive cousins and tita, who continued to trust me for their school events. Because of all of you, I slowly found my way back.
Today, I’m thriving. I’m happy. I’m achieving things I never thought possible. Just recently, a former client reached out and with that one opportunity, I became a head makeup artist for a film at 24. It still feels surreal.
Back then, it was hard for me to find makeup classes in bicol and many makeup artists refused to take me in as their apprentice. Now, not only have I supported and trained two young hair and makeup artists, but I was also finally able to invest in a masterclass with a professional makeup artist.
None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my family, friends, special people, strangers and loyal clients who believed in me, pushed me, and supported me in their own sweet and simple ways. Every share counts!
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reigniting my passion. I hope we stick together so I can keep the fire burning and share that light with more people in this beautiful, creative industry.🥰💘
