We can't deny the fact that every single day we have different kinds of worries. As a matter of fact there are those recurring ones...

Whoever you are, you can't be save from daily troubles because those are part of one's life.

I worry too much. I overthink a lot. And whenever I do so, acne breakout comes along. Sometimes, loosing my appetite and can't think clearly, etc.

It is true that worrying has bad effects into humans' body. Not just physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and most spiritually.

But God loves us so much. He knew the effect of worrying. He knew that there will be different problems everyday so He keeps on telling us not to worry.

Worrying a lot shows your trust on your own power, own strength and not of God's.

What are you worrying about? What are you overthinking about? Things which are about to come and not there yet? Current problems? People's expectations about you? Too many to mention....

God wants us to enjoy life and make the most of it. The thief wants to destroy our peace and joy that's why he keeps working double time to steal the joy we have in Christ.

Troubles are there to display God's miracle, power and grace. God keeps on reminding us that we don't have to worry about things. He wants us to draw near Him because it is Only through Him we can have victories over trials.

May the Lord calm our troubled minds. May He continuously supply us with peace.

"𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴, 𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴"
𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟱𝟱:𝟴 | 𝗡𝗜𝗩

God is totally different from us. He thinks differently. As human, we think based on what we see, taste or on our level of understanding.

But God perceive things beyond human capacity. He moves in a way people can't think of.

In the past, people were waiting for a Mesiah, a King who will save them from suffering and slavery.

Who would have thought that the King will be born in a humble manger? Who would have thought that the Saviour will be carried by the virgin's womb through the Spirit of God?

Who would have thought that the King needs to suffer and die on the cross to pay the costs of people's sins?

It's hard to understand how God moves when we rely based only on our knowledge. Even our knowledge can't figure out the way God decides, thinks and move but it will always be for His glory, for the best, according to His purposes and plans.

Sometimes, we don't understand why we have to experience things... Why it has to be like this or that? Why do I need to go through these? Why do I need to face these battles? Why I am like this? etc.

Though God has definite answers to all our why's, He usually don't tell everything and simply says that His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts..

That calls for a big TRUST in Him. He knows what He is doing. He controls everything.

Surrender and Obedience go hand in hand. If we have surrendered everything to the Master, we'll obey even if it doesn't makes sense to us.

May we learn these important things in life. May we learn to let God control the wheel of our lives through the help of Jesus 💗

𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘰𝘮.

In a bustling world where people do a lot of things for a living or to acquire more, we tend to overlooked the most important things in life.

We maybe trapped in the idea of 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦.

We have side hustles, for some maybe because other people are rooting for them or maybe because we want things to suffice our discontentment.

I am guilty of it.

For whatever we choose, there will be consequences. There will be pros and cons. There will be things we will compromise.

If you would like to gain more to have this and that or to give more to others, you'll work double time. You'll sacrifice some of your precious time to achieve what you want without thinking that your body is being compromised or your time supposedly spent to your family and most specially with God are being disregarded too...

𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸? 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘥? 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦?

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥.. It's ONLY HIM who knows everything. It's ONLY HIM who sees the bigger picture.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is just a word and a word which is hard to put into life. Contentment is a gift we must long to have.

Contentment is a word accompanied by TRUST. Trusting God that He will provide for our daily needs.

God never fails to give out things we need. It just that it is our desire to have more which makes things complicated.

If only we knew God's time. If only we knew the time left. IF ONLY....

I believe we will keep focusing more on the most important thing

You know the God whom you are worshipping...
You know the God whom you are serving...

He is He . The great I am. The God who parted the red sea is the same God who rescued you and me.

Is there anything too hard for the Lord?

Does He not know all your needs? your petitions? your desires? your dreams?

He is the God who knows every single strand of your hair.. He is the God who calls each star by name..

Is there anything that troubles your mind?

Then, God is saying.. At the right time He will let all His promises happen. Be still and know that He is God.

He is the God who doesn't forget what He says He would. He is the God who remembers your dreams when you're young and even those dreams you have forgotten at old age.

He remembers your whisper back when you're at the dark.

He knows all your fears. Your childhood traumas. He knows how to heal. He is a doctor of all kind of wounds.

He knows what you're battling right now - sickness? failures? trials of all kinds....

The God who freed the Israelites from Egypt and brought them to the land of milk and honey - Canaan is the same God who will rescue you today.

Yes, Our God is greater than any other! He is OUR GOD✨

Where/Whom do you place your trust and confidence?

Do you place your trust in money which lasts in a blink after all your "I deserve this moments"?

Do you place your trust in your own strength which fades away as you get older?

Do you place your trust in your own talents, skills and capabilities which are no use when you're in death bed?

Do you place your trust in your accomplishments or achievements which you can't bring with you in the grave?

Do you place your trust in people who only come and go?

Do you place your trust in your job or company which can replace you immediately if you can't reach their requirements and expectations?

Do you place your trust in people's commendations and praises about you which are quickly forgotten when you have committed a mistake?

Do you place your trust in your beauty and brain which diminish in time?

Do you place your trust in your investments, insurance or funds which their value change as time goes by?

Do you trust in all the TEMPORARY THINGS in this world? Since all of those last ONLY FOR AWHILE, we can't be INSURED BY THOSE FOR ETERNITY.

But, ONE THING is FOR SURE....

WHEN WE PLACE OUR TRUST in the One whom we cannot see but is moving powerfully, in Him whose trustworthy and lives in the beginning and till eternity -- God. We have hope for the future to come.

"But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14

Thank You for all the things You do just to show Your love for me!
Thank You for enduring the pain on the cross taking all my sins to set me free.
Thank You for bringing sunshine to my gloomy life
Thank You for giving colors to my faded heart
Thank You for being my everything when all about me is failing
Thank You for loving me as I am!

Thank You for staying by my side when all my thoughts collide
Thank You for making my whole being joyful and alive
Thank You for rescuing me when I'm helpless while wrapping Your warm embraces
Thank You for being my soft pillows carrying my tears at night
Thank You for being my eyes when I'm loosing my sight
Thank You for helping me win every fight
Thank You for washing my sins with Your blood overwhelming me with Your love

Where else can I compare You to?
You made me feel brand new.

Treasures in a Jar

Do you feel less valued? Do you get envy when people in this world succeed specifically in their career, businesses, and so on and so forth? Do you battle with insecurity that you don't have savings in your bank account? You don't have talents as others have?

2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

1. God is our Great Potter
Remember the One who created us is not an ordinary potter but an extraordinary Father who is great among the great architects in the world.

Q: What beautiful creation of God do you admire?
Maybe you have a lot like when you go to the beach, you maybe fascinated with the beauty of the ocean. When you go to Albay, maybe you mesmerized with the perfect cone-shaped of Mayon Volcano or when you go to Ifugao, you maybe amazed of the picturesque landscape of Banaue Rice Terraces. Ang daming magagandang tanawin. Nasa Pilipinas pa lang tayo!

Isn't it amazing to be reminded that the ONE who created us is the One who created the world, the universe?!

When we battle with a lot of insecurities, we focus not on the Creator but rather we listen to the devil's schemes. Nako, madaming pinaplant ang kalaban sa ating isipan na kasinungalingan para di tayo magmove forward because he knows when we know who we are in Christ, WE WILL SHINE and yung light na magpapa shine sa atin is the glory of Christ! Ayaw ng kalaban na maglorify natin si God.

The question now is, will you let the devil stopped you from believing who your Great Potter is?

When we know who are our Great Potter is and when we shift our attention to Him, we will be confident (not that having pride in us) but we will be confident that God can do so much more through us. That God can bring out the best in us. God can use us for His beautiful purpose, His Will.

2. Share the Treasures in you
Now that we got reminded of who our Great Potter is. God knew our characteristics. Like a jar, we are fragile. Pero kahit na napaka fragile natin, di pa rin si God nagdalawang isip na gamitin tayo for His amazing purpose.

Let's remember what we have in us. We are holding His words, our life testimony with Christ.

Remember Jesus when He talked with the Samaritan woman in the well which we can read in John Chapter 4.

The woman was using a jar to fill it with water then Jesus offered her the living water which is abundant and will never make her thirsty again.

As disciples, as christians..
We already have the privilege of the living water because we already have Jesus! We already accepted Jesus' offer.

Question: Do you keep your living water to yourself or do you share it with others?

When we just keep it to ourselves, anong purpose nito sa atin? Tayo lang nagbebenefit. Share mo din. Let's not be selfish.. Madami tayong supply. Overflowing ang supply natin.

Di ba kapag stagnant ang water, yung iniimbak lang pinamamahayan ng insekto, dengue.. Bakit lang natin i-store eh sabi ni Christ, di Siya nauubos.

John 7:38
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’

We have enough supply, actually sobra sobra pa. Let's keep on sharing it. Let's keep on sharing our testimony, our faith, God's Words to others, His promises, the Good news!

From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly; before those who fear you will I fulfill my vows.
Psalm 22:25

There are promises we uttered when we're at the peak of struggles, when we're battling with challenges and even when we're at the peak of our emotions such as when we're in an ecstasy state and on the other hand, misery.

We begged God to help us, forgive us, restore us. We also pleaded God to make miracles in our lives. But, when prayers have been answered, we often tend to forget what we'd promised Him in the dark. We often failed to fulfill what we said we would.

God knew all things from the very start. He knew that there's a big probability that we might fail in our words. But you know what, God is so faithful and patient with us. His love is unconditional and He didn't do things based on what we say or promised Him. He delivered us because He loves us genuinely.

He longed to be with us in HEAVEN SOMEDAY that's why He suffered in pain and took all the shame. He saved us not because we asked for it but because He truly desired to restore the relationship we had at first - His will in the creation.

Remembering what we were before, we were broke, helpless and lost when God reached out our hands. We found healing and new beginnings.

As people who have been rescued from the dark, how do we live out our promises? Are we still true to our words? Are we still true to our vows when we testified to the great assembly that JESUS IS LORD?

His grace is sufficient. Every day is an opportunity to repent.

Let's strive hard to fulfill our promises in life's different phases.
