The Officers of Sumaro B met at KP (Kantong Putikon) under the escalator in SM Naga. It's now all systems go!
We discussed marketing matters, advertising targets and editorial concerns. But we are of one mind, the Dawani magazine shall become a regular and official publication of SB to serve the literary interests of our Bicolano writers looking for a respectable venue for their literary output.
We call on all members of SB to solicit ads in support of Dawani's publication this coming December 2024.
PLEASE SUBMIT CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE MAGAZINE. They may be in Bikol, Tagalog or English but the policy is 80% should be in the Bikol language.

Dawani Magazine calls for artworks from among which will be selected the cover art
for our second issue to be released in December 2024. The artist and their other works will be featured, too.

In a meeting of Sumaro B Officers at SM Naga last Sept 27, 2024, a consensus was reached to publish the 2nd issue of SB DAWANI Literary Magazine on December 2024.
But to make the project viable, Sumaro B will solicit ads to defray the publication costs.
So, writers and poets, you may now submit poems, short stories and historical essays to the Editorial staff thru email address [email protected]., or at [email protected].
