Biliran Pop Music Songwriting Festival BilPOP is an all- language songwriting competition open to all Biliranons ๐ŸŽต

OBJECTIVES
โ€ขTo encourage and inspire creativity and productivity among musicians in the Region amidst the pandemic by providing incentives and opportunities for their work to be developed and exposed;

โ€ขTo provide an avenue Biliranon songwriters to level up their musical expressions by exploring various genres, aesthetic content and form, and skills in delivery of their songs;

โ€ขTo elicit support

from Biliranons by patronizing original Binisayรก songs and buying recorded song products from legal online digital music platforms;

โ€ขTo promote pride of language, people, place and history through song messages that reflect Biliranon culture and heritage;

โ€ขTo lay the groundwork for a sustainable music environment among Biliranon songwriters that could empower them for sustainability through their songs and ultimately inspire them to continue songwriting as a lucrative career path; and

โ€ขTo entertain, educate, and inspire the Biliranon audience worldwide in these trying times of the pandemic.
