This action comes amid ongoing heavy rains and flooding resulting from the intensified southwest monsoon and Tropical Depression "Crising," which have significantly affected various municipalities and cities within the province.
The executive order aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel by preventing potential hazards posed by the inclement weather. The suspension is effective immediately and will remain in force until further notice.

To safeguard the health, safety, and property of the residents amid heavy rains and flooding.

Based on Section 2 of Presidential Executive Order No. 66 (2012) and Section 16 of Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991), empowering local government units to take necessary actions during disasters.
Coordination:
Implemented in coordination with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
